These students are finalists in this year’s Pender Spring Fest Logo Contest. The logo for this County-Wide Festival is created, each year, by Pender County Students from 3rd through 6th grades. History was made this year when two designs were chosen for the Logo which appears on the Spring Fest T-Shirts, Posters and Brochures as well as a US Postal Cancellation Stamp. a fun run/walk around the town.

WHEN: Saturday, May 3, 2014 @ 8:00 am !

Where: Osgood Canal & Greenway Trail – approx. 2.6 miles

Register: Pre-register for this event by picking up a registration form

at Rochelle’s Furniture or Harrell’s Department Store.

Complete the form and mail to P.O. Box 340, Burgaw, NC

28425 or drop off at Burgaw Elementary School

Event Day: Entrants may register the day of the race. Registration will

begin at 7:00 am in front of Bandana’s Family Restaurant

and Grill, located at 205 E. Fremont Street, Burgaw. The

event will begin at 8:00 am. Participants who pre-register

must check in at the appropriate station the day of the run

to confirm they are present and pick up their race number.
