PENGUIN CLASSROOM NEWSLETTER 3.19.21  

Hi Penguin Families,     

Winter went out with a cold, blustery day. But, we are happy to welcome Spring!   We had a fun week talking about the four seasons, di�erent types of weather, and St.  Patrick’s Day. Our letter of the week was letter “C” and we introduced the Magic  Letter C song from the Handwriting Without Tears song collection.   

 We did a “rainbow walk”, adding water color paint to di�erent cups and watching it  “walk” up the paper towel arches.   

   

What a cute group of leprechauns we have in our classroom! We worked on sequencing  the letters of our names for this fun craft!

Some of our table top options included number to number  matching, number to quantity matching, and upper case to lower  case matching activities.   

 

   

We added a light table to the classroom and it is a big hit! The Penguins have had fun  building with our see through legos. We love to see their creativity each day.   

   

Next week we are excited to explore space through books, discussions, and crafts.     

Please note, April 2nd there will be no school in observance of Good Friday. It is  coming up fast!
