In many places in the world, people do not have enough to eat.

If a family could have a flock of chickens or ducks, they could have eggs to eat and sell. The flock can also help the environment by fertilizing the fields and removing bugs from the crops.

Through a company called Heifer International we can donate a flock of chickens and a flock of ducks to help a community in need in another part of the world.

Please bring in change at lunch time to benefit Pennies for Chickens and Dimes for Ducks. Any change or bills will be accepted!

We will donate the remaining funds to help communities in New Jersey affected by Hurricane Sandy.
