GET YOUR PRO-LIFE NEWS EARLY Mary Lou Gartner maintains our email list, and she often sends mass mailings to tell us about an upcoming event or to ask us to contact our local lawmakers about an important pro-life bill. If you would like to be on our list, send your email address to [email protected]. Recently many emails with “Verizon” or “aol” as part of the address have been returned as un-deliverable. Be sure to check your address to be sure it is up to date. If there has been a change, send the new address to [email protected].

MAGEE PROJECT PROGRESSES Meredith Parente reminds us that as the 40 Days for Life campaign moves along, we should continue to pray for the success of the Magee Project. We have prayed for all members of the Board of Magee as well as for the President of Magee, Leslie Davis and the Chairman of the Board, William Pietrogallo II, Esq. Of course, a major change like the one we are asking is not likely to happen with agreement of UPMC President, Jeffrey A. Romoff. Also, sign up for a time to fast and pray during the 40 Days for Life from September 27 to November 5. If you have questions or comments, please contact us via The [email protected] or on Facebook at The Magee Project.

SPAGHETTI IN NEW CASTLE New Castle Chapter of PCUC will hold their annual Spaghetti Dinner on Sunday, September 17 at Mary, Mother of Hope Parish Center. To make reservations or for takeout call Diane, 724-658-8662.

2017 Christmas Card Journey of Love

Try to imagine the 100 mile walk on the caravan trail between Nazareth and Bethlehem. Joseph and Mary, exhausted by the journey, were grateful for a corner of the innkeeper’s barn…where Jesus was born.

Scripture Verse: The Word became flesh and built His dwelling among us, and we have seen His glory; the glory of an only son coming from the Father, filled with enduring love.

Greeting: May the love born on that holy night reach into the hearts of all people. May the love of the Holy Family be with you today and every day in the coming year.

Colors: Soft, medium blue and rose with touches of white and gold.

Cards at $6/set of 10 with white envelopes. Size = 5”x 7”

Postage for one set = $2.25 for 2-5 sets = $6.45. Call local distributor for free delivery.
