PeopleSoft Financial & Supply Chain Management v9.0 - PeopleTools v8.48- Patch 8.48.06

Caution: Don’t use VNC for Installation

Sql Server 2000 will work for applications whose version is below 9.0 Install Sql Server 2005 enterprise or express edition for V9.0 only

Check the Collation Designator and sort order and Binary check box

IIS should be disable and warning message will come for this.

Installing SQL SERVER 2000 For Peoplesoft (if required)

Check the Collation Designator and Binary Check box

Install Sql Server 2000 SP3a

Task 1: Install Weblogic 8 with Service Pack 2 or 3 or 5

Procedures:1. Go to the weblogic folder2. double click on server815-win32.exe

Task 2: Install Tuxedo 8.1(use the exe downloaded from sandbox site)

Procedures:1. Double-click on 2. Tuxedo81.exe.3. Click Next twice at the Welcome window to start the installation.4. Click Finish at the Installation Complete window.5. Restart your computer and make sure that tuxedo services are running

Task 4: Install PeopleTools 8.48

Procedures:1. Unzip all the files using WinZip to same folder (xls is provided which gives the details of

cd sequence)2. Open folder B30548-01 and Double click on setup.exe3. Follow the screen shots and instructions given as comments 4. when the system ask for the next CD give the location of next cd mapping of CD # and

Folder Name is given in XLS.

Task 5: Install Financials & Supply Chain Management 9.0

Procedures:

1. Unzip all the files using WinZip to same folder (xls is provided which gives the details of cd sequence part number for the disk 1 is B34069-01 instead of B34096-01)

2. Open folder B34069-01 and double click on setup.exe.3. Follow the screen shots and instructions given as comments 4. when the system ask for the next CD give the location of next cd mapping of CD # and

Folder Name is given in XLS.

Task 6: Install PeopleSoft Internet Architecture

Procedures:1. Go to C:\PT8.48\setup\mpinternet2. Double click setup.exe3. Follow the screen shots below and instruction given as comments

Task 7: Installing FSCM 9.0 Demo Database

Procedures:1. Go To C:\PT8.48\setup\databaseinstall2. Double Click on setup.exe3. follow the screen shots and instruction given as comments

Password for people user is peop1e (it’s not L, numeric one)

Task 8: Installing Application Server Domain

Follow the steps given belowNote the places where you find Address use its value as %PS_MACH%

Applying Patch 8.48.06

Open Data Mover

Run the script ptpatch.dms

Open Appliation Designer

Reconfigure peoplesoft internet architecture

Boot the Domain

Start the web logic

Task 9: Logon to PeopleSoft

Procedures:1. Launch your local web browser (i.e. Internet Explorer) and type the following URL:

http://localhost/psp/FIN90DMO/?cmd=login

2. Sign in as User Id/password = VP1/VP1 (note: the id/password ARE case sensitive)
