Please clear your throat with a cough and spit the resultant saliva/sputum into the universal collection tube provided.
1. Clear the throat with a cough
Please repeat this procedure until approximately 1ml of sample has been deposited in the collection tube.
2. Spit the resultant saliva into tube.
Peptest Sample Collection Procedure
As a guideline the sample should be below the bottom of the white label on the collection tube as illustrated.
Do Not fill above the first line level.
3. Repeat until 1ml collected
4. Shake well
Replace the lid and shake the collection tube to mix the sample with the reagent in the collection tube.
Notes
1. Avoid the following 30 minutes before collecting samples: Caffeinated drinks, carbonated drinks and smoking
2. Avoid the following for 48 hours before collecting samples: Alkaline Water, antacids, alginate suspension medication (e.g. Gaviscon)
1ml
