The workshop is designed for trainers and consultants who want to refresh or get to know Thiagi’s interactive training methods.

In spring 2019 we will publish a second book in German with Thiagi activities. During this workshop we will cover at least one activity from each of the 12 chap-ters!

Topical Activities: Intercultural Training Activity, Diversity Training Activity, Innovation and CreativityActivity, Interactive On-line Learning Activity, Big Group Faciliation Activity The focus of the course is not on the content because we assume that the participants have sufficient knowledge of theories, principles, and procedures sui-ted to their context and to their participants.

Instead, the focus is on activities that enable the participants to interact with thecontent and help them process, recall, adapt, and apply them to improve their professional and organizational productivity. Thiagi and Sam will also share their ideas and experiences on their field-testedtools. Participants learn to facilitate, analyze, and improve activities that work in their pro-fessional context. Participants get introduced to the newly published book on Thiagi activities in German.

Sivasailam “Thiagi” Thiagarajan is the president of Workshops by Thiagi, Inc. and a partner in van den Bergh Thiagi Associates GmbH. Both these organiza-tions focus on helping professionals improve their performance effectively and en-joyably.

Internationally recognized as an expert in multinational collaboration and active learning in organizations, Thiagi has lived in three different countries and has con-sulted in 27. He has worked with more than 50 different organizations in high-tech, financial services, and management consulting areas. For these clients, Thiagi has consulted and conducted training in such areas as change management, leader-ship, diversity, creativity, teamwork, and organizational learning.

Samuel van den Bergh is professor for Intercultural and Diversity Management at Zurich University of Applied Sciences, Switzerland, and president of van den Bergh Thiagi Associates GmbH. Educated in Zurich and Berkeley, Sam has trained hun-dreds of business leaders and MBA students on cross-cultural and diversity man-agement. He was also a senior cross- cultural trainer for the Swiss Federal Adminis-tration for more that 10 years.
