KaPre PhoNix patented potassium fertilizer solution is intended for use as a foliar or soil applied supplement to a good fertility program.

What are higher plants? Arthur M. Nooomura and Andrew A. Benson state: "Higher plants include all plant species having true stems, roots, and leaves. Suitable C3 plants which may benefit from [this mode of action] include crop plants, such as rice, peanuts, barley, broccoli, cauliflower, mint, grapes, potato, eggplant, zucchini, squash, cucumber, bean, lettuce, chard, sugar beet, radish, kale, tobacco, alfalfa, oats, soybean, turnip, parsnip, spinach, parsley, [etc.]; flowering plants, such as rose, coleus, chrysanthemum, poppy, African violets, bougainvillea, oleander, hibiscus, gardenia, jasmine, camellia, marigold, daisy, stock, vinca, gerbera, carnation, cyclamen, peony, shooting star, bird-‐of-‐paradise, forget-‐me-‐not, and the like; fruit trees, such as apple, plum, peach, cherry, citrus, and the like; and forest trees, such as pine, redwood, cypress, juniper, elm, birch, palm, and the like. enhance productivity of plants. These compounds include methanol metabolites and amino acids. The enhanced productivity appears to result, in part, from inhibition of stress induced photorespiration and from enhanced fixation of carbon dioxide and plant turgor.
It is recommended that KaPre PhoNix be applied with primary and secondary nutrients, micronutrients and several carbon sources. These nutrients and compounds are found in the Performance Nutrition fertility and disease control programs.

KaPre PhoNix is effective on all “higher plants”.
Products like KaPre PhoNix perform best when included in a tank mix with the amino acids, plant nutrition, simple and complex sugars and other ingredients found in KaPre AG, KaPre ExAlt and KaPre Embella.

The Benefits of Improved Plant Turgor “Turgor, the distension of the plant cell wall and membranes by increase of cellular fluid content, is increased with synthesis of sugar. Turgidity, being the opposite of wilt, is a positive symptom of plant vigor. High levels of turgor pressure distend guard cells, thereby increasing the stomatal opening and allowing improved assimilation of carbon dioxide.
Enhanced turgidity therefore translates to improved photosynthesis in the presence of light. Application Instructions KaPre PhoNix can be applied as a foliar or soil application to all crops. Applications should be made at planting (if applicable) and then every 10 to 14 days throughout the growing season, as needed.
KaPre PhoNix should be diluted at a ratio of 400 parts spray solution to 1 part KaPre PhoNix. See table at right for application rates for different volumes of spray solution.
Fertilizer Additive Instructions: Mix with other fertilizer components so that the final fertilizer solution delivers KaPre PhoNix at the rates per volume of fertilizer solution listed in the table (right).
