What is Performing art and cultural centre?
•A multi-use performance space that is intended for use by various types of the performing arts, including dance, music and theatre. The intended multiple use of performing arts centers in this sense differentiates them from single-purpose concert halls.
•A cluster of performance spaces, usually but not always under one roof, each possibly designed for a specific purpose such as symphonic music or chamber music or theatre, but multi-purpose as a whole
Based on auditorium capacity of 800.
PRINCIPLE OF DESIGN
The horizontal angle to the center line at which objects onstage, upstage of the curtain line, cease to bear the intended relationship to other objects onstage and to the background is approximately 60 .

Occupants of all seats are visually related to the performance when the seats are oriented toward the stage . This necessitates curving therows of seats . The center of curvature is located on the center line of the auditorium approximately the depth of the house behind
The angle subtended with the horizontal at the front-most observer by the high object should not exceed 30 degrees . Minimum distance of front seats should be determined by the highest point required to be seen on the stage by about 750 cm or more.

for purposes of seeing,radial aisle are best, with curved aisles onlyslightly less efficient
