Defining a Black Hole A black hole, in simple terms, is a region

of space from which nothing, not even light, can escape.

Surrounding a black hole is an undetectable surface which marks the point of no return.

It is believed that anything that enters in a black hole is forever lost in a magnitude of gravitational forces.

How the black hole was theorized

The most exclusive and closest mathematical calculations and laws of black holes were created by Albert Einstein.

It was during a solar eclipse where the sun’s light rays were deflected by a gravitational force. This observation was carefully examined by Einstein and the theory of general relativity had become famous.

Continued.. The theory of general relativity was the

first major new theory of gravity since Isaac Newton’s more than 250 years ago.

This idea splurged into the scientific minds of many people and now a new era of imagination had begun.

Days of testing and solving mathematical equations all pointed to one thing, black holes.

Theory of general relativity and black holes

General relativity is the relationship between time and space. Gravity has much to do this because in this theory, it is the key factor to slowing time down or speeding it up.

Black holes are believed to have an unbelievable gravitational force within. This is where general relativity plays its biggest role.

Light moves faster than anything in the universe and does not bend. However, when it encounters a black hole, light bends and thus defeats the concept of the correlation of space and time.

Space and time are affected by the encroachment of black holes.

Physical features of the black hole

The black hole is actually surrounded by a cluster of stars and gas particles. The stars surround the black hole because of the strong gravitational forces at hand.

In the center is the event horizon, basically the point where there is the strongest gravitational force and nothing can therefore escape. This point is said to theoretically stop time.

Continued… Black holes feed on stars. Stars are the

energizing fuel for black holes and eventually they burn out because of the extreme gravitational pull expressed onto them.

Stars collapse because of black holes. When they eventually have no more force/energy within them, they are simply destroyed.

Black holes can feed on giants stars such as suns. The force of a lack hole is unstoppable and inevitably gets the sun’s complete energy.

The ultimate black hole Black holes are extremely massive.

The largest black hole is a super massive black hole.

The theoretical size of it is 10 million times larger than that of our own sun.

This supplements the idea that black holes can very easily consume any and all stars within our universe.
