Section 8.1(b) of the ILWCA

In determining the level of permanent partial disability, the Commission shall base its determination on the following factors: 1. The reported level of impairment pursuant
to subsection (a) [this is the section regarding AMA impairment ratings];
2. The occupation of the injured employee; 3. The age of the employee at the time of
the injury; 4. The employee’s future earning capacity
5. Evidence of disability corroborated by the treating medical records
No single enumerated factor shall be the sole determinant of disability….
