1. Print out all the pages. You will have to cut info boxes to apply into Instructors Guide.

2. The page number that is on the pages that print off is the page that you will apply them to the instructors

guide. Example: the First page you print will not have a #, it says front cover, you will apply it to the front

cover of the instructors guide. The next page says back cover, apply to the back cover (on the outside) of in-

structors guide. Then next page says inside front cover, it will go on the BACK of the front page of guide.

Then next page says (3) this will be applied to page coordinating with number (3) and so on.

3. On the Last 2 Pages of this document, you will see full pages of pictures that are referenced in this guide.

They are GREAT Reference Tools. They are also included in the Instructors Guide to show at your party. If

you desire you could print these 2 pages (12-13) in color and have laminated or put in a Sheet Protector to

pass around at the Party during the time you talk about them. No worries– they are also included in the

instructors guide if you forget them at home.

I recommend you print on full sheet adhesive labels or print on reg. paper and paste to Instructors Guide.

These words will take up the entire page of Instructors Guide. (The NEW Instructors Guides come Bound

and will be a better option for long term use.)

structors Guide has MANY Advantages like staying on track, not forgetting things and it also will help YOU

sell your position because others will think, “I can read, so there is no reason why I couldn’t do this”!

Before Class Starts– -Be sure you have talked to the Hostess about who is coming

today that may be interested in MK– and ask your Hostess-

-If you are using Liquid foundation you will want to set it with a loose

powder, I use a light coat of Mineral Powder Foundation, if you are just

using Mineral Powder Foundation no other powder is needed.

-I have facial bags premade before the class and each includes: Quart

Zip Lock bag with Viva Paper Towel, 2 Cotton Balls, 2 Q-Tips, Beauty

Today we are going to be pampered with our High End Prod-

uct line called Timewise Repair. It is designed for more ma-

ture or damaged skin and it works! It received the Good

Housekeeping Seal of approval before it ever hit the market

for sale. (Good Housekeeping Seal is given by an outside company that

stands behind and gurantees the products will work and will even replace it if

you are not satisfied.) Timewise Repair will turn back time and

lift away the years. You be pampered with the Timewise

Repair Skin Care and receive some Basic Glamour. The eyes

you came with will be the eyes that you leave with.

We will schedule your CHECK UP APPOINTMENT so we

can check the progress and formulation of your skin care and

also customize your eyes, lips and look at any special needs/

I’m going to give you some instructions to put on and take

off a few steps and then I’ll go back and tell you what we

did… is that ok? (4)

Dampen Facial Cleansing Cloth (suds up a little) Wipe off Left Side of

Face ONLY. This is just cleaning the surface with no anti-aging bene-

fits. Dampen Viva Paper Towel and wipe off Left Side. (these are great

for the gym)

ALL NEXT STEPS on RIGHT SIDE OF FACE ONLY!!!!

Repair Foaming Cleanser–(#1 spot in tray) add water to finger tips– it will lath-

er, apply to Right side of face & wipe off w/wet wash cloth (viva paper towel) Repair Lifting Serum–(#2 spot in tray) apply to right side.(Love!)

Repair Day Cream– (#3 spot in tray) apply to right side of face.

Repair Eye Cream- (#4 spot in tray) apply to right side of face.

[use ring finger– b/c weakest finger]

Let’s talk about what you did-

TW Repair does the work of 15 other Mary Kay Products

combined. It volumizes, tightens, firms, reduces pore size

and lifts sagging and aging skin. [show each product as you talk about it]

Repair Foaming Cleanser– It maintains moisture balance,

renews skin radiance, cleanses deep like a mask, tightens like

a toner and has bleaching power to keep sun spots and age

spots away, while leaving skin feeling supple and pampered. (you only need an amount the size of pearl and add water to make it

foam) (use morning and night)

Repair Lifting Serum– immediately firms, lifts and adds

volume and moisture. Promotes skin resilience. Softens the

look of lines and wrinkles along with crepiness in the neck

area by filling in fine lines and wrinkles. (you only need 1

pump for face and 1 pump for neck/throat area) (use morning and night)

Repair Day Cream with Spf 30– protects against future

damage, helps even skin tone and minimizes skin reaction to

Day Cream is a deep hydrating moisturizer that helps reduce

skin glycation, a process that can intensify skin aging. The

Spf of 30 is very important b/c sun can damage your skin

even we don’t think it can– like when driving. Use this prod-

uct ONLY in the morning…(Show pic of truck driver)

In the evening you will use the Night Treat-

ment with Retinol. It has a hyaluronic acid booster

and plant stem cells with the strongest form of vitamin A ret-

iniods available without a prescription. Fights the appear-

ance of deep lines and wrinkles and restores skin tone. Helps

accelerate cell turnover to reveal radiant looking skin. Keep

your skin looking younger!

Repair Eye Renewal targets deep lines, wrinkle and

sagging skin, combines a drink of water, and firms. The

unique applicator tip makes this product work even more

effectively that you experienced it today. We use a similar

metal in the end of tube that Boxers use in matches to imme-

diately reduce puffiness to allow the fight to go on. You will

apply a small amount to eye area then turn it over and mas-

sage the eye area with the applicator. It provides

instant relief to tired eyes, will de-puff and pro-

vides a cooling sensation that immediately revives.

Foundation Primer-–(#5 spot in tray) [apply to right

side only!] Foundation Primer is like the Glue that

will hold your foundation in place, fill in pores

flawless look with out foundation)

supplement that you might want to consider to go along with

Timewise Repair. To get a deep exfoliation you could use

this 1-2 times per week along with your TW Repair.

Pick your “roughest elbow”. Apply the Refine Step (first

step of Micro D– I squirt into their fingers). It will be sandy

feeling. It is exfoliating the top 2-3 layers of the skin off.

(wipe off with cloth). (Apply Step 2– squirt into fingers) Re-

plenish- It replenishes vitamins and minerals we just stripped

Time for Foundation– Our Goal is to help every woman find

the foundation shade and formula that is perfect for her! To-

(OPTION 1) Mineral Powder Foundation-

Mineral Foundation can be layered- it will build in coverage

but not in weight. The secret of the application is in the

BRUSH- it allows it to go on smoother and more evenly. (you can use Brush or Cotton Ball to Demo with- if you are using cot-

ton ball, make sure you tell them that it nothing like the brush and it

will apply, faster and more evenly with the mineral powder foundation

brush)

HOW TO APPLY MINERAL POWDER: (Show them how to use by

demonstrating and talking them thru it) Open the container, tap a

small amount into lid, swirl brush around in a circle, tap bot-

tom of brush on the table or palm of you hand to dispense the

powder down into the bristles of the brush– this way it isn’t

wasted and get all over your clothes. (If they are using cot-

ton balls– make sure they don’t over load the cotton ball.)

(OPTION 2) Liquid Foundation-

Our Liquid Foundation comes in 2 formulas– MATTE Wear

and LUMINOUS Wear. Matte Wear is oil controlling and

Luminous Wear is more moisturizing. Today everyone is us-

ing Matte Wear. If you prefer Luminous Wear, I will make

note of that on your profile card.

This foundation can be applied with a sponge or a Liquid

Foundation Brush. Today we will be using sponges. You

will not want to over apply foundation in one spot so remem-

ber a little goes along way. These liquid foundations have

anti-aging benefits with colloagen-building peptides and Vit-

amin E and antioxidants that help protect skin against envi-

ronmental stressers. (Have them apply)

Any time you use a liquid foundation you need to set it with a

loose powder. Today we are going to set ours with a thin lay-

er of mineral powder foundation. This can be used to set

foundation like we are using it OR you can use it alone as a

foundation. If you chose to wear it as a foundation by itself

you could apply additional layers for more coverage. (go to

top of this page and walk them thru How to Apply Mineral Powder) (13)

At your Check Up Appointment when we do your Advanced

Glamour, I will use the information that you provided me

with on your profile card like your eye shape, lip size, skin

tone...so be sure that you filled all that information out. I

will teach you how to apply your advanced glamour accord-

ing to your face shape and facial features.
