Personalized Learning Taskforce Scavenger Hunt The purpose of this activity is to help you become familiar with our EPIC section of the district website. This is a place where Taskforces will upload important documents and communicate important information. Complete the following activities to earn your Compass Badge! 1. Go to our district’s web page and click on the EPIC tab. Under this tab, click on the link to go to the Personalized Learning Taskforce page. Once on this page, click on ‘GEVS PD’ and find 2015-2016 section and click on the link to Schoology. Sign in to your account (username is your email and password is teacher) and accept the invitation to GEVS Scavenger Hunt. 2. Next go to ‘Blog’ under Personalized Learning Task Force. Read through blogs and post a reply to each. Then go back into Schoology and list 2 topics you would like to see in future blogs under Question 2. 3. Next click on the Instructional Taskforce link. Once on this page, find the documents containing the due dates for peer and self- reflections for your building. Post on Schoology under ‘Courses’ ‘GEVS Scavenger Hunt’ Question 3 when the first IRIS Connect video is due for your building assignment. 4. Click on the EPIC tab, then click on the Communication Taskforce link. Once on this page, find the first Apple Award theme for the school year and post it on Schoology under ‘Courses’ ‘GEVS Scavenger Hunt’ Question 4. 5. From the EPIC tab, click on the Dual Enrollment link to be taken to that taskforce’s page. On this page, find how many hours of college credits Georgetown will offer students. Post it on Schoology under ‘Courses’ ‘GEVS Scavenger Hunt’ Question 5.

Personalized Learning Taskforce Scavenger Hunt

The purpose of this activity is to help you become familiar with our EPIC section of

the district website. This is a place where Taskforces will upload important

documents and communicate important information. Complete the following

activities to earn your Compass Badge!

1. Go to our district’s web page and click on the EPIC tab. Under this tab, click on the link to go to the Personalized Learning Taskforce page. Once on this page, click on ‘GEVS PD’ and find 2015-2016 section and click on the link to Schoology. 6. Click on the EPIC tab and follow the link to the 40 Developmental Assets page. On this page, find the first four weeks of curriculum and post on Schoology under ‘Courses’ ‘GEVS Scavenger Hunt’ Question 6 the theme for each week.

7. Click on the EPIC tab and each Task Force to find the leader of each. Post their name and Task Force on Schoology under ‘Courses’ ‘GEVS Scavenger Hunt’ Question 7.
