    Light: There must be sufficient light falling on the book or notes you arestudying.

    Temperature: The temperature of the room should be neither too warm nortoo cool, but medium.

    Airiness: Your study room should be well ventilated. The windows should, asfar as possible, be open so that you can inhale fresh air.

    A quiet place: It is necessary that you study in a quiet place away fromdisturbance of kind.

    Time: have a fixed time for studies and stick to it religiously, but rememberyou should not do any serious study after heavy meal.

    Routine: Organize your time wisely each day. Pauses: You should take a break after every one hour or so for five, ten

    minutes. This break allows the mind to recognize the material learned. Your study table: If the table is cleared and all the books etc. properlyorganized, there is less likelihood of you being distracted during study.

    Sitting posture: It has been found that when one is studying, if ones spine isstraight, and the feet flat on the floor, one can concentrate better.

    HOW TO APPEAR IN AN INTERVIEW

    1. DRESS APPROPRIATELY: Find out what dress is consideredappropriate. For example, attire that is acceptable in acertain city may not be appropriate in the same situation in anotherone. Before you say a word, what you wear the first impression.

    2. SMILE: A smile is the most effective means to establish effectivecommunications. A smile should indicate, +ve attitude, respect forthe person, friendliness and openness.

    3. POSTURE: How you sit, where you look, how you wish yourinterviewer makes a difference. You must sit straight, be curt andpolite.

    4. USE GOOD MANNERS: God manners are always appropriate andmay give you a competitive edge. Say such things as please, thankyou, excuse me with sincerity and show respect for others.

    5. AVOID MANIPULICATION: Be direct and honest. Treat others withrespect. Give convincing arguments. Remember that manipulativecan back fire.

    6. EYE- TO- EYE-CONTACT: Have an eye contact with the personwho is interviewing you.

    7. FIND OUT WHAT YOUR LISTENER WANTS: To gain the most fromany conversation focus on your listener. Use open ended questions.
