There was an estimate count of 60 Cane toads removed for the month of February throughout the HOA property. As the weather starts to warm up, and the rains begin, the toads will become more active. The first round of breeding is upon us for this season, we will be keeping a close watch for tadpoles in the lakes in the upcoming month and notify the CDD if needed. A number of the toads removed were larger breeder toads, and were seen and removed under street lights feeding on the bugs. Observations; We are still seeing more Native toads and frogs making an appearance throughout the community. If residents notice a toad on their property, please ask them to snap a picture and send to us for identification, to assure it is a Cane toad. Pictures below show other species of toads and frogs seen on property from last year. The Cane toad population is present throughout Palmira, but we are limited to what we can get to on the HOA side. The Cane toads are attracted to the lakes and disperse throughout the community. Upcoming Visits; Thursday, March 12 into Friday, March 13 - Monthly Thursday, March 19 into Friday, March 20 - Major Thursday, March 26 into Friday, March 27 - Monthly

Summary of Visit;

A thorough inspection of the property took place, including the hot-spots we were watching closely before the colder weather started.

Observations;

We are still seeing more Native toads and frogs making an appearance throughout the community. If

residents notice a toad on their property, please ask them to snap a picture and send to us for

identification, to assure it is a Cane toad. Pictures below show other species of toads and frogs seen

on property from last year. The Cane toad population is present throughout Palmira, but we are limited

to what we can get to on the HOA side. The Cane toads are attracted to the lakes and disperse

throughout the community.

Upcoming Visits;

Thursday, March 12 into Friday, March 13 - Monthly Thursday, March 19 into Friday, March 20 - Major Thursday, March 26 into Friday, March 27 - Monthly
