The Golf Course is in Great Shape!
A huge shout out to our superintendent, Dustin Nemenz, and
his staff... Speaking of fast greens, make sure you are spending some
time practicing your pace!
A small difference in impact and/or effort can make a big difference in
where your putts ultimately end up when green speeds get over 10!
Take some time practicing ‘touch’. Work on hitting putts the
proper distance.
On long putts that would be getting the ball within a couple of feet of the
hole (short or long) and on shorter putts, it’s making or knocking your missed putts about a foot past the
hole. The better one’s pace, the more 2 putts and ultimately the more 1
putts will be made.
After some consistent and systematic training...
