11.3 CLINICAL SERVICE
Reproduction clinic of Onderstepoort Veterinary Academic Hospital: Senior clinician since 1994, sharing in rotation for in-hours and after-hours duties. Render clinical service in Small Animal, Equine and Production Animal Clinics, teach undergraduate BVSc and DVN students and postgraduate (MMedVet) students and theriogenology residents.
Founder and sole proprietor of Veterinary Fertility Services, a specialist fertility private practice located in Pretoria, since 2005, dealing with bovine and small animal fertility cases by first-line and referral. Limited to canine semen banking since Sept 2009.
Taurus Livestock Improvement Co-Operative: Consulting veterinarian January 2008 – Sept 2009, overseeing disease and quarantine control, animal health, semen production and export protocol development and compliance.

Manuscripts have been refereed for national and international journals including Journal of the South African Veterinary Association, SA Journal of Animal Science, Reproduction in Domestic Animals, Veterinary Microbiology, Journal of Virological Methods, and Theriogenology. Also served on scientific program committees for local congresses and reviewing for ICAR 2012 and International Symposium for Canine and Feline Reproduction 2012.
I have acted as external examiner for dissertations and theses from two other universities.
