Petroleum Production Technology focuses on industry operations and interrelation of petroleum geology, exploration, drilling, production, transportation and processing. The program is designed to give students skills in operating and maintaining equipment used in oil extraction in a safe and responsible manner. Study includes knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, print reading, troubleshooting, safety, communication and chemical technology needed in petroleum operations.

BSC offers a Bachelor of Applied Science in Energy Management entirely online. The four-year degree builds on foundations of the AAS degree in Petroleum Production Technology and adds core management, energy management and general education courses.
