adjustable pneumatic suspension* whichcan be adjusted when stationary: a height of only 45 cm in the low position.*Available as an option according to version.

PAYLOADThe Expert  has payload options of 1000 kgor 1200 kg. The platform cab can alsoaccommodate a payload of 1200 kg.

SLIDING SIDE DOORSGuided by two bearing rails and a rail at thetop, the Expert has standard twin  sliding sidedoors. Particular attention has been paid tothe design of the opening handles to makemanoeuvring the doors easier.

HINGED REAR DOORS The two panel or glazed hinged rear doorsopen to 180° to make loading easier. On thelong and high version, the Expert is fitted withspecial rear doors, adapted to its height.

EASE OF DRIVINGSUSPENSION (STANDARD /PNEUMATIC)The Expert offers a choice between two types of rear suspension: metal orpneumatic. The latter allows the  vehicle to remain at an overall height of 1.90 m and a constant ride height,regardless of the load. When stationary, it allows adjustment

of the height of the loading sill by means of a manual control.

STEERINGFor greater driving pleasure and extra fueleconomy, the Expert is fitted, according to engine, with hydraulic power steering (1.6 l HDi 90 engine) or electrohydraulicpower steering (2.0 l HDi 120 and 136 engines).

STOPS  / DAMPERSThe Expert has long, dense travel stops. By continuously adjusting their  rigidityand  load flexibility, these  stops form the link between the front and rear suspension,providing stable

vehicle handling and an excellent level of comfort, even when empty.The dampers have been designed to provideexcellent support of the vehicle body andenviable suspension comfort.

In this case, the electropump assembly is controlled according to the speed of the vehicle and the speed of rotation of the steering wheel, irrespective of the engine speed.

FRONT / REAR SUSPENSIONWhen a vehicle is a work tool, you have tobe able to count on it in all circumstances.The quality of its suspension and wheelsgives the Expert benchmark stability.

Regardless of the load, the rigidity of thebody and independent pseudo Mac Phersontype front suspension with independentwheels, optimise road holding. The semi-deformable rear suspension provides anexcellent level of  active safety.

A  working vehicle used every day must beergonomic, practical and comfortable.  Theinterior  is functional and innovative andequipped with comfortable seats providingexcellent support. The Expert also offers avisibility pack, available as an option, whichincludes automatic rain sensing wipers,automatic headlamp control, air conditioningwith pollen filter (with activated carbon) and

a passenger compartment air recirculationsystem. The Expert also offers numerousstorage compartments which makeeveryday  life easier.

THE BEST OF TECHNOLOGY

PC SOUND RADIO CD MP3The Expert’s control panel incorporates a radio/single CD, with steering wheel control. Thesound is emitted by 2 speakers and 2 tweeters.

MULTIMEDIA SYSTEMS The Expert offers a choice of interactive multimedia systems. Peugeot Connect Navigation(RNEG) has a 7 inch colour screen and combines three functions: radio, Bluetooth® hands-freekit and GPS navigation.

PEUGEOT  CONNECT USBAs an option, the PC Connect system, which incorporates the Bluetooth® function, allows youto connect digital portable equipment via a USB port to listen to your favourite music incomplete freedom.

EXTERIOR MIRRORSTheir double mirror makes parking manoeuvres easier and provides better coverage of theblind spot on the driver’s side. The exterior mirrors can be adjusted, folded electrically* fromthe inside and heated** at the same time as the demisting of the rear screen.* As an option only.** As standard or optional according to version..

AUDIBLE REAR PARKING ASSISTANCEActivated when reverse gear is engaged, ultrasonic sensors warn you of the presence of anobstacle, or person, near the rear of the vehicle. The frequency of the audible signal increasesuntil it becomes continuous when the obstacle is less than 30 cm away.

Trips in town or long journeys on the mainroad: the driver’s information and comforthelp him to travel with maximum

efficiency. The Expert has techologypreviously only seen in passenger cars.

SMOOTH AND DYNAMIC DRIVINGA choice of three enginesFor your Expert, you can choose from threeHDi diesel engines, one of which is bound tomeet  your requirements.

1.6 l HDi 90 bhpThis engine has 16 valves, a double overheadcamshaft and a fixed geometry turbo. Livelyand powerful, it is very economical andperfectly suited to driving in town

2,0 L HDi 120 bhpCompared with the 90 bhp version, the 2.0 l HDi 120 bhp adopts a variablegeometry turbo. Its specifications make it an ideal engine both for short trips in townand longer journeys on main roads.

2.0 L HDi 136 bhp FAPThis engine is fitted with the ParticleEmission Filter to reduce harmful emissionswithout compromising peformance andeconomy.

The Expert’s engines all comply with the Euro4 standard and are designed to facilitate yourjourneys and increase your efficiency. Theyall work towards the same objectives: adesire for economy and protection of theenvironment.

HDi TECHNOLOGYA source of performance and economy, theCommon Rail injection system is featured onevery Expert HDi engine. By injecting fuel athigh pressure directly into the combustionchamber, this system reduces fuelconsumption and provides extra power, incompliance with the Euro 4 emission controlstandards.

PEFThe Particle Emission Filter (PEF) technologyreduces emissions of pollutant particleswithout reducing power or performance.

The Expert is a modern vehicle which offersall the latest equipment intended to improvethe safety of the driver and passengers.

Fitted on the Expert as an option or asstandard*, several technologies contribute to providing greater safety:

ANTICIPATE

ABS, EBA• the anti-lock braking system (ABS) controls

your trajectory during emergency braking,• the Emergency Braking Assistance (EBA)

provides additional assistance on sharpbraking which increases the brakingpressure and reduces the stoppingdistance to a minimum.

ESP* • ESP prevents wheel slip in the event of loss

of traction• the ROM module, by acting on the brakes,

limits the risks of the vehicle rolling over inthe event of extreme transverseacceleration

• the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC)continuously compares the informationtransmitted by the steering wheel sensorand the yaw sensor to detect any incipientundersteer or oversteer. It then initiatescorrective actions to maintain thetrajectory initially required by the driver.

BRAKINGIn order to optimise the efficiency,endurance and reliability of the braking, allExpert models are fitted with four discbrakes (with the exception of the L1H1 1.6lHDi van with standard suspension, whichhas drum brakes at the rear).

SPEED LIMITER AND CRUISECONTROL*Your vehicle can be fitted with cruise controland a speed limiter. The cruise controlallows you to maintain a constant speedregardless of the relief of the road andwithout having to press the accelerator. Thespeed limiter deactivates the accelerator assoon as a programmed speed is reached. *Optional.

PROTECT

REINFORCED STRUCTUREThe design of the body frame ensuresenergy absorption  in the event of an impactin order to protect the occupants. Theintegrity of the passenger compartment isguaranteed by the securing of the engine onthe subframe and providing reinforcementinside the doors. The front bumper has ahigh absorbtion capacity thanks to a beammounted on dampers screwed to thechassis leg

IMPACTReinforced seat  fittings and controlleddisplacement of the pedal bracket andsteering column (allowing the steeringwheel to retract by 80mm), reduce injury inthe event of front impact. Particularattention has been paid to the displacementof hard incompressible masses in the enginecompartment to limit intrusion into thepassenger compartment.

AIR BAGSFitted as standard, the driver’s front air baglocated in the steering wheel pad protectsthe chest and head. A  front passenger airbag, designed to cover both the individualpassenger seat configuration and the 2-seatbench configuration, can also be installed,as well as 2 side air bags* in the backs of theindividual seats.*Optional.

SEAT BELTSHeight adjustable 3-point seat belts areequipped with pretensioners and forcelimiters to reduce the physical force to whichside occupants may be exposed.

HEAD RESTRAINTSThe head restraints are fitted on the frontseats. They can be removed and their heightcan be adjusted to adapt to the size of theoccupant.

DRIVER’S SEAT PROTECTIONBehind the driver’s seat, a vertical ladderprovides the driver with the best possibleprotection against the risks of load movement.A number of bulkhead options are alsoavailable.

FASTEN  SEAT  BELT  INDICATOR A visual warning, supplemented by anaudible warning when the Expert exceeds 10 mph (15 km/h), indicates the driver’sseat  is unfastened.

IT IS ALWAYS ON ITS GUARDINGENIOUS SECURITY DEVICESIngenious security devices supplement theExpert’s protection equipment: • separate unlocking of the cab and load

compartment using the remote control, • locking of the load space from the cab,• visible marking of the vehicle identification

number

CENTRAL LOCKING /UNLOCKING CONTROLLocated on the centre console, thisactivates the normal locking. An additionalcontrol permits locking / unlocking of therear compartment only. When the Expert ismoving, the automatic locking of the doorsfunction is activated when the speedreaches 6 mph (10 km/h).In the event of an impact, the doors unlockautomatically.

HAZARD WARNING LAMPS SWITCHClose to hand for both the driver andpassengers, the hazard warning lampsswitch can be identified very easily. It istriangular, red, and placed on the fascia’scentral control panel.

OPEN DOOR LOCATORIf a door is left open, including those  in theload compartment, you are alerted by awarning lamp on the instrument panel, orby the multifunction screen if your Experthas one.

LOCKING / UNLOCKINGOn the remote control, three buttons trigger the locking / unlocking of all the doors, of the cab only or of the rear compartment. From his seat,the driver can lock or unlock the entire vehicle, the front cab only or the rear compartment only. To make identification of your Expert easier, itschassis number is engraved at the base of the windscreen.

DRIVER’S ELECTRIC WINDOWSAFETY SYSTEMThe one-touch control for the driver’s electricwindow has an anti-pinch system: if thewindow detects an obstacle, it reverses itsdirection of movement.

THEFT PROTECTION / INTEGRITYOF THE VEHICLEThe Expert’s mechanical protection deviceshave earned it a high level Thatcham securityrating: single exterior lock with a high level oftamper protection, disengageable and anti-pick, lock control cable connection protectiveplate.

DEADLOCKING These systems render all of the interioropening controls inoperative, so there is nopoint trying to break in by breaking a window.* Optional.

CODED ENGINE IMMOBILISERThis electronic immobiliser system pairs theengine ECU and the BSI so that the vehiclecan operate. In the same way, the audio andtelematic equipment  needs to be  paired withthe BSI.

SPECIAL PROTECTION SYSTEMS• An anti-theft mechanism locks the steering

if there is an attempt to break the visiblepart of the steering column.

• The spare wheel can only be accessed fromthe rear compartment.
