UPPER GROUND FLOOR

On the completedlayer of 1:3 roughplaster (mota maal),the 2nd and finishinglayer of lime plaster of¼ ’’ thickness (1:3)fine traditional limeplaster was applied.The lime plaster iscured for minimum15-20 days.

CONSOLIDATION : LAYING OF LIME CONCRETE IN THE WESTERN BALCONY

Roof section of Northwestern portion of thewestern balcony wasreconstructed using I-sections, shahabadstone slabs and limeconcrete

CONSOLIDATION : LAYING OF LIME CONCRETE ON THE WESTERN PLINTH

UPPER GROUND FLOOR

2 inch thick Shahabadstone slabs were laidabove the I-sectionsand later 3 inch thicklime concrete layerwas laid above theShahabad stone,sloping towards thenorth.

Compaction of lime concrete startedon 28.02.2018 using wooden malletand will go on for another 21 days toattain desired strength of limeconcrete

ANTI TERMITE TREATMENT

Anti termite treatment was done on thedurbar hall wooden ceiling

After spraying chemical mixture on the wooden ceiling of Durbar Hall

Water used in construction works on site was tested for itscomposition and if the water is suitable for construction works. Thetest results stated that the water is good for construction.

Old Circular column bricks and newly made bricks on the site were tested for there compressive strengths. Old brick resulted with high compressive strengthswhere as new bricks were not conforming to the standards suitable for construction.
