Phidgets are used in a number of spectacular projects, ranging from scientific to artistic in nature. Our user base also spans all levels of experience, from students and hobbyists to professionals looking to create prototypes and permanent installations.

Phidgets accelerometer sensors are used in the Caltech Community Seismic Network (top left) which places more than a thousand seismometers into homes to monitor earthquakes and create shakemaps for the Pasedena region of California.

The “Planet Tree” kinetic sculpture (top right) created by Wit Pimkanchanapong uses three hundred Phidgets stepper motor controllers connected to an Apple computer to create soothing leaf like motion. The installation is located in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Falcon Robotics Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (above) created by a team of high school students in Phoenix, Arizona makes extensive use of Phidgets sensor and controller boards. The sub was entered in the 2013 RoboSub competition hosted by the AUVSI Foundation.
