The 1st Infantry (TABAK) Division, Philippine Army conducts InternalSecurity Operations (ISO) in the AOR to dismantle and destroy the remaining guerillafronts of the LCM, the MILF, and the Abu Sayyaf Groupin order to attain peace and stability conducive to sustainable development;assists the government in its socio-economic development projects; and assists thePNP curb criminalities in the AOR.

To conduct Internal Security Operations (ISO) in order to neutralizethe LCM's armed group & dismantle their political infrastructures in the

remaining guerilla fronts with the end view of reducing the LCM threat tothe minimum level.

To conduct incessant operations against the MILF and the AbuSayyaf Group to neutralize their capabilities to conduct aggressive andhostile actions against the military and civilians.

To intensify the collection of FAs through combat, intelligence andCMO and hasten the surrender of LCM and SPSG personalities through theGovernment’s Amnesty and "BALIK–BARIL" Programs

To check illegal logging and illegal fishing in coordination with otherconcerned government agencies.

To conduct disaster relief and rescue operations during natural andman-made calamities in coordination with other concerned governmentagencies.

To assist the PNP in it’s drive to curb criminalities and neutralizesyndicated crime groups.

To secure and protect communities, economic centers and keyinfrastructure projects of the Government.
