The Philippine Nurses’ Association of Metropolitan Houston would like to humbly solicit your generous financial support for the victims of the destructive typhoon that recently hit our native land- the Philippines. The typhoon badly hit the Luzon Island mainly in Manila and its neighboring cities resulting in the loss of many lives and the massive destruction of homes and property.
President Gloria Arroyo Macapagal has issued a state of
emergency and has put out a call for help in kind and in cash for the typhoon victims.
We feel that it is our moral and civic responsibility to
heed to this call and I am appealing to you to join us in responding to this call.
Your financial contribution to this very worthy cause will
go a long way in helping our afflicted “kababayans” (fellowmen), our relatives, families and friends back home.
