our new Image Interpretation Course Series, continuing education for RTs, new online courses

New Image Interpretation Course Series for
Radiologic Technologists
The Learning Center is announcing the Image Interpretation course
series - innovative, interactive e-learning courses which will aid
Radiologic Technologists in understanding image interpretation and
the evaluations of x-rays. The courses focus on identifying anatomy
using both colorful images and x-rays and offer many examples of
radiographic technique. There are 30+ courses covering the adult and pediatric musculoskeletal
systems and the adult chest located under the 'Radiology/X-ray - Plain X-rays in the Adult/Pediatric'
category within the Course Catalog. These courses are approved for Category A+ continuing education
(CE) credits by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT). Review course series.

MR Basics - A Solid Foundation in MRI from the
ASRT!
If you are looking to learn the basics of MRI, the ASRT is offering a
new online course series which includes 10 interactive modules
covering the fundamentals of MRI to neuroimaging as well as a
bonus practice test. Whether you are trying to decide if MRI is the
specialty for you or you need to improve your skills, you can use
this series to gain expertise which will help you succeed in the
exciting field of magnetic resonance imaging. Just like the popular CT Basics series from the ASRT,
engaging animations and colorful images help explain the basics of MRI in an easy-to-follow format.

MR Advanced Neurovascular Training
New Clinical Education Course: our new MR Advanced Neurovascular
course is intended for MR technologists who would like an
introduction to Neurovascular MRI. The course focuses on
anatomy/physiology and imaging of pathology related to the
neurovasculature of the human body. Upon completion of the
training course, participants should be able to perform, discuss, and
understand technical aspects of neurovascular imaging including positioning, imaging parameters, and
techniques. Learn more.
Please note: participants must be familiar with using a Philips MRI system - completing initial system training and have used
the system for at least a month.
