O Once upon a time four teenagers were at a camping and they had a free day, so the decided to have some fun creating a sport. The idea sounded really good so the decided to mix two sports and change the rules to be easier.

History of the sport

O At first the rules of that sport called “Ice-Bowling” were not too clear but the important thing was that they had a great time playing it. Nowadays this sport has cleared its rules and it´s an Olympic sport. There is also a National League of it and a lot of people practise it.

O All the equipment that each person will use is a stick. To differentiate themselves from the opposing team, there is a chance to take a sport bib.

O In addition, we will use 10 bowls ( 5 on each end of the field), a chalk and a tape measure to delimit the field of play, a coin for draw and a hockey ball.

O The dimensions of the field are 6.1 meters wide and 11.8 meters long. There will be a cross painted in midfield as well as two areas of one square meter.

and they will be formed by 3 people chosen by lot.

O There´ll be five bowls in the area of each field. Each team will try to overthrow them always shooting the ball from outside the area and without going into it.

How can you score?

O If all the bowls are demolished in only one shot, 7 points are added.

O If otherwise you pull less tan five, that is the score that will be added to the scoreboard. Fallen bowls will be replaced after pulling some by a launch.

O The game starts out from the centre and each team tries to pull the maximum number of bowls, passing the ball with the teammates. The team that pulls more bowls will be the winner and will pass to the next stage to fight for the championship.

Game Development

O The match will be divided into two halves, and each one will last exactly 4 minutes. And don´t forget that there will be no rest between both halves.

How long is a match?

O For each offense, you are suspended for 30 seconds.

O There will be throw-ins and goal-kicks, and this must be performed from the area.

Rules that you must obey

O It will draw from the center at the start of each game.

O The maximum number of touches per person with the stick are five.

O If a team touches his area, there will be a penalty from the centre of the field.

O If there is a tie, the match is decided with a coin flip.
