The main goal of virtual reality exposure thera-pies is to immerse the patient progressively to face his or her disorder. For each of the treated phobias, several exposure steps are available, and can be repeated indefinitely.

The application and the environments are enti-rely developed by our teams of engineers and graphic designers in-house. The protocols and the specifications are written by our scientific

committee consisting of health professionals and university health centres.

The benefits of virtual reality are many: pa-tient safety, no travel outside the practice (for aviophobia for example), comfort care, confi-dentiality, better scaling of environments and possibility of repeating the scenes indefinitely.

Being a medical device marked CE, the C2Phobia tool is very easy to use and to handle. Designed by mental health professionals, psychiatrists, psychologists, and psychotherapists, for their colleagues, it allows to immerse the patient in an ultra-realistic virtual environment. Headed with the virtual reality headset and accompanied by the therapist, the patient is exposed gradually

to different levels of anxiety according to his pathologies.

The most frequent phobia treatment (claustrophobia, acrophobia, fear of driving …) is now accessible via our application and other cares will soon benefit from the virtual reality contribution such as fear of blood or fear of water.

Thanks to C2Phobia’s virtual reality envi-ronments, exposure to different heights is very easy.

Depending on the patient’s anxiety and to-lerance, you can expose the patient on the ground floor or in front of a building (to be aware of the heights around him) then, to

several heights, from the first to the 15th floor to the skyscraper’s roof.Exposure exercises can be carried out in several ways. Exiting on balconies, using a glass exterior elevator or moving from one building to another via walkways with cus-tomizable configurations (with low walls, with ropes or without any protection).

Several situations can cause agoraphobic feelings of severe stress and disability in eve-ryday life, particularly public places, crowds or public transport.

The C2Phobia solution includes several thera-peutic environments reproducing the places

in which patients experience anxiety.

It is thus possible to dive into virtual reality and to go to a metro station, then into a more or less crowded car. Other situations immerse you in a railway station, in a drivers bus, or in a train journey.
