Welcome to Canadian Northern Outfitters ,a remote salmon fishing lodge nestled on the Long Harbour
River. The River provides one of the earliest salmon fishing seasons in the province, with the first run occurring
mid-June and lasting until late July.
Leaving the work life behind, join us for our new 2016 angler package - a 3 night/ 4 day all-inclusive fishing ex-
perience you’ll never forget. Departing from Grand Le Pierre, our executive helicopter will fly you over the wilder-
ness of the South Coast of our Province. Upon arrival at the lodge our staff are here to get you settled, while our
guides are ready and waiting to get your fishing day started. Our package is designed to maximize your fishing
experience by keeping groups to 4 anglers, with one guide per 2 anglers.

What to Expect
After arriving, you can set your own schedule for the day. Waking before dawn to
cast your rod, or perhaps you’d rather head out after breakfast. Our staff works with
to optimize your fishing preferences.
After an exciting day on the river, return to the luxury of our main lodge. Constructed
of pine logs and stylishly furnished with antique European furniture, it has 4 bed-
rooms, 2 washroom, and 2 shower facilities. Our chef provides all meals during
your stay, and is sure to incorporate locally sourced seafood or wild Newfoundland
game during the course of your stay.
While taking time out from fishing, you can enjoy the many amenities on hand such
as our wood-fired sauna, outdoor fire pit and various hiking trails. Our facilities are
fully equipped with all necessary fishing gear, wireless internet, and satellite phone.
