Ideas

The following few slides are to

show the sorts of ideas that I am

interested in, the ideas that

relate to my genre of music, and

images I found when I typed it

into Google . This is helping me

to determine my final photo

idea for my magazine cover.

I personally feel that I like the

idea of a silhouette, but this

would be too dark and lifeless,

with no colour drawing the

attention of the customer.

However, I am interested in the

idea of the top, left hand

picture, as I feel as though it is

unique, and is an easy idea to

work with, obviously I’d ensure

that the artists head was

included within the picture, and

could either include a tagline or

the artist and their name within

the object being held.

As mentioned on the previous slide, I like the idea of a silhouette, here is the example.

I like the idea of words across the front page, if it isn’t too difficult I would like to include it

on my front cover, maybe as the background of the artist, and also a bit quieter, with words relating to the artist, and maybe even lyrics.

The reason I chose all of these pictures is because I felt that they were all powerful, and are all related to my genre choice of music, for my magazine. I personally feel that some of these ideas and effects would be really effective with on the front cover, and can be something a bit different, whilst still being eye-catching, and will therefore help to draw the readers attention, as a powerful image can help them to decide on a magazine. I have also included some magazine cover for my genre as I can compare them and see which one would work best with my idea. I would also like to use the idea of the holding a board with words on as my final idea.
