GALINA NAYDENOVA-MITTERMANN’S PORTFOLIO

Galina Naydenowa-Mitterman

I was born on 06.06.1971 in the town of Teteven, in

the picturesque foothills of the Balkan mountains.

The last15 years I spent in countries, which were

very different in traditions and ways of thinking,

locations brimmed with an abundance of motifs and

themes.

As graphic artist, painter, teacher and poet I became

involved in photography 2002. During my stay in

Korea my commitment grew and grew. Ten years and

ten of thousands pictures later I documented the

protests of Bulgarians (DANS with me) in Vienna for

“The Bulgarian internet information portal for

Austria “,for ”Melange bulgaren” and some others

medias in Bulgaria and Spain.

My pictures where recognized by the Bulgarian

Cultural Institute in Vienna and I was invited to


shoot at events at the Cultural Institute “Haus

Wittgenstein”, at the Bulgarian Embassy in Vienna ,

at performances of the “ Pendari” - Folklore group,

the Bulgarian radio “Brigada” in Vienna and ”Art

novini” internet site for art as well.

Due to my photographic work I was affiliated 2013

in the Union of Bulgarian Journalist.

In Turkey I photographed for the Bulgarian Embassy

in Ankara, the Bulgarian society in Ankara, for

“Internations“ expat organization more than a year,

for “Latino dans stüdiosu” at several events, as well

as for the Bulgarian national women volleyball

team and the “Bulgarian volleyball fan club” during

the women’s U23 world championship 2015 in Ankara.

Some of my pictures were selected for a photo

exhibition in Ankara by Turkey- Korea Great

Friendship Association on Oct. 24th.
