my attention straight away. It did this because everything in the background is dull and black and white and the handcuffs are brighter and shiny.

I chose this photo because it caught my attention because I did not know what the metal object was and the fact that there was also snow in the picture because I love snow!

Ernest Cole Ernest Cole was a South African, born in Eersterust in

Pretoria, in 1940. He used to work in south Africa, he travelled to America

sometimes to get different types of shots, and to compare south Africa to America. But he sadly died in 1990.

Most of his work was to show the poverty in some parts of Africa!
