Hueis another name for color. When an images hue is adjusted, the base color of that image changes in correlation with the color wheel. The images saturation refers to the intensity of its colors.19Color contdBeige_BeforeBeige_After

Saturation = 0

Sometimes you may NOT be able to get a color adjustment that you like. In this case, removing ALL saturation to make a Black & White image can be very effective. 21Brightness & ContrastUnderexposed_Before

After: B = 59 Contr = 84 Midtn = 20

Picture Manager allows you to adjust the brightness and contrast of your image. If an image is too light or too dark, you can use the brightness and contrast controls to improve the picture.22Rotate & Flip

When inserting into publications (brochures, magazine articles, etc), the image may need to be flipped to face toward the text.23Cropping

The Crop Tool allows you to delete unwanted portions of an image. Please note that the Crop Tool only lets you crop rectangular selections. It brings your subject closer for more focus. You MUST click Done and Savethe image after cropping (reminder: make a duplicate FIRST).24
