1. KATEGORI / CATEGORIES

A. KAMERA “Point and Shoot” dan DSLR / Point & Shoot and DSLR camerasTerbuka kepada semua warganegara Malaysia dan bukan warganegara Malaysia.(menggunakan telefon bimbit dan action camera adalah tidak dibenarkan dalam kategori ini)

Open to all citizens and non-citizens of Malaysia (using mobile phones and action cameras in these categories will not be allowed)

2. PENGISIAN PERTANDINGAN / CONTENT OF COMPETITIONHasil karya hendaklah menggambarkan bangunan Dewan Undangan Negeri Sarawak sebagai sebuah bangunan ikonik, agung dan terindah di negeri Sarawak.

Results of works must show the Sarawak Legislative Assembly Building as an iconic, august and impressive building in the state of Sarawak.

3. TEMPOH & TEMPAT PERTANDINGAN / TIMEFRAME AND VENUE OF COMPETITIONa. 1 Ogos 2018 – 31 Ogos 2018 / 1st – 31st August 2018b. Tempat / Venue : Lokasi terbaik yang boleh memperlihatkan bangunan Dewan Undangan Negeri Sarawak /

At locations to best show the Sarawak State Assembly building.

4. PERALATAN FOTOGRAFI DAN AKSESORI / PHOTOGRAPHIC EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES

a. Jenis-jenis peralatan fotografi dan aksesori yang digunakan mesti berdasarkan kategori yang dipilih. Types of photographic equipment and accessories used must be based on categories chosen.

b. Pihak Penganjur tidak akan bertanggungjawab terhadap apa-apa kerugian, kerosakan atau kecurian peralatan fotografi dan aksesori kepunyaan peserta sebelum, semasa dan selepas pertandingan. The Organiser will not be responsible for any losses, damage or theft of photographic equipment and accessories of participants before, during and after the competition.

5. PENGHAKIMAN / JUDGINGa. Pemenang akan dihubungi oleh penganjur dan akan diumumkan secara rasmi semasa majlis penyampaian

hadiah. Winners will be contacted by the Organiser and will also be officially announced during the ceremony to present prizes.

b. Keputusan hakim adalah muktamad dan sebarang bantahan, perbincangan atau surat-menyurat tidak akan dilayan. The decision of the Judges is final and any protest, deliberation or correspondence will not be entertained.

6. TANGGUNGJAWAB PESERTA / RESPONSIBILITIES OF PARTICIPANTS

a. Peserta tidak dibenarkan untuk menghantar gambar yang berunsur lucah, kesat,kebencian, mengancam, bersifat perkauman dan selainnya yang boleh melanggar undang-undang tempatan atau antarabangsa. Participants are not allowed to send photographs containing elements of obscenity, coarseness, hatred, threats or communal sentiments which may contravene both local and international laws.

7. HAK CIPTA & PENGGUNA / RIGHTS OF OWNERSHIP AND USEDengan menghantar imej / gambar ke pertandingan ini, peserta memahami, mengesahkan dan menjamin bahawa:With the sending of images / photographs to this competition, participants understand, confirm and guarantee that:

a. Peserta merupakan pemilik gambar yang dihantar untuk pertandingan dan merupakan hasil kerja asal peserta. Participants are the rightful owners of the photographs sent for the competition and they are the original works of the participants.

b. Peserta bertanggungjawab terhadap gambar yang diambil terutama sekali jika melibatkan pengambilan gambar manusia / model lain tanpa izin. Penganjur tidak akan bertanggungjawab terhadap sebarang ganti rugi yang dibuat oleh pihak ketiga disebabkan oleh pelanggaran seperti yang dinyatakan. Participants are responsible for photographs taken especially where they involve picture-taking of people / models without permission. The Organiser will not be responsible for any compensations made by third parties as a result of any infringement as specified.

c. Peserta beraku janji memberikan Penganjur hak eksklusif, tidak boleh ditarik balik untuk mengeluarkan semula, membesar dan mengecilkan saiz, menyiarkan atau mempamerkan hasil karya peserta, dalam mana-mana media termasuk:

Participants acknowledge and pledge to give to the Organiser exclusive and non-retractable rights for reproducing, enlarging and reducing the sizes of entries, publicising or exhibiting in whatever media including:

√ Liputan berita pertandingan / News reports of the competition√ Laman web penganjur / The Organiser’s website√ Laman sosial penganjur / The Organiser’s social media site(s)√ Pameran &Promosi / Exhibitions and promotions√ Penerbitan – seperti brosur, risalah dan laporan / Publications – such as brochures, leaflets and reports√ Untuk diedarkan kepada media,digunakan dlm siaran media, serantau dan untuk digunakan untuk

tujuan promosi dan yang berkaitan / For distribution to media, for use in media reports, regionally and for use towards promotional and other related purposes.

d. Butiran peserta akan disimpan bagi tujuan pertandingan. Dengan menyertai pertandingan ini, setiap peserta telah bersetuju bahawa pihak Penganjur berhak mengumpul, menyimpan dan memproses butiran peserta bagi tujuan pertandingan. Details of participants will be retained for purposes of the competition. By participating in this competition, each participant is deemed to have agreed that the Organiser has the right to collect, preserve and process his / her personal details for the purposes of this competition.

e. Pihak Penganjur berhak untuk membatalkan atau meminda pertandingan, peraturan, terma dan syarat kemasukan pada bila-bila masa dan tanpa notis terlebih dahulu. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel or amend arrangements and terms and conditions of the competition at any time and without advance notice.

8. SYARAT PENDAFTARAN / CONDITIONS FOR REGISTRATIONa. Yuran penyertaan adalah PERCUMA. There is NO PARTICIPATION FEE.

b. Peserta yang ingin menyertai pertandingan ini boleh mendapatkan borang seperti berikut : Intending participants may obtain the registration form as follows:

9. FORMAT DAN SYARAT PENYERTAAN / FORMAT AND TERMS OF COMPETITION

a. Cara penyerahan gambar untuk pertandingan adalah: • Gambar hendaklah dicetak dalam saiz 8 inci x 12 inci, dan dilekatkan pada “mounting board”

hitam bersaiz 10 inci x14 inci. • Borang penyertaan hendaklah dilekat pada belakang “mounting board” hitam.• Salinan digital (soft copy) perlu dikepilkan bersama dalam bentuk CD atau USB (thumbdrive)

untuk setiap penyertaan.

Mode of handing in photos for the competition:• Photos must be printed in sizes of 8-inches X 12-inches and mounted on black mounting boards

of 10-inches X 14-inches.• Participation forms to be attached at the back of the mounting boards. • Digital soft copy must be attached in the form of a CD or USB thumb drive for each participant.

b. Peserta dibenarkan untuk menyertai mana-mana kategori yang dipertandingkan tertakluk kepada:Hanya boleh menyertai dan menghantar maksimum 3 penyertaan bagi setiap kategori sahaja. Satu borang penyertaan satu gambar. Peserta yang didapati menghantar lebih dari tiga borang penyertaan pada kategori yang sama maka penyertaannya bagi kali yang ke-4 adalah dikira batal dan tidak akan diterima. Namun peserta tidak dibenarkan untuk menggunakan gambar yang sama untuk kategori yang berlainan.

Participants are allowed to take part in any participating category provided:• Only a maximum of 3 entries per category. One registration form per photo. Participants

who submit more than three entries per category will have excess entries considered cancelled. Participants are not allowed to use the same photo for a different category.

c. Peserta tidak dibenarkan menggunakan imej yang pernah dirakam dan telah diterbitkan dalam mana- mana pertandingan fotografi lain. Kegagalan untuk mematuhi arahan ini akan menyebabkan penyertaan pertandingan terbatal secara automatik. Participants are not allowed to use images already recorded and published in any other photography competitions. Failure to understand this will result in an automatic cancellation of participation in this competition.

d. Pihak penganjur tidak bertanggungjawab ke atas kegagalan perkakasan atau perisian komputer yang menyebabkan penyertaan lambat atau gagal diserahkan. The Organiser will not be responsible for failure or corruption of computer content resulting in the late or non-submission of entries.

e. Pihak penganjur tidak bertanggungjawab terhadap kehilangan penyertaan, kelewatan, salah arah, dan tidak lengkapnya pengisian borang atas sebab-sebab teknikal atau lain-lain. The Organiser will not be responsible for any loss, delay, misdirection and incomplete registration-form contents for technical or other reasons.

f. Foto yang di hantar harus merupakan karya asli peserta. Pihak penganjur berhak membatalkan kemenangan peserta sekiranya berlaku pengaduan dan terbukti sahih bahawa visual yang dikemukakan adalah plagiarisma. Photos submitted must be original works of participants. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel any winning entry in the event of any contest and proof of visual plagiarism.

g. Untuk kategori Kamera ‘’Point and Shoot” dan DSLR, pengeditan asas seperti cropping, brightness, tone dan contrast kepada imej penyertaan adalah dibenarkan kecuali jika ada penambahan imej dari luar kawasan pertandingan yang disatukan / digabung ke imej atau gambar asal. Manipulasi kepada hasil karya ini adalah tidak dibenarkan. For the Point and Shoot Camera and DSLR Category, basic editing such as cropping, for brightness, tone and contrast of participating images is permitted except where there are additional images from outside the area of the competition merged into or superimposed onto the original images. Such manipulation of original works will not be allowed.

h. Untuk kategori Selfie dan Wefie, penyuntingan menggunakan perisian yang dimuat turun di dalam telefon mudah alih / telefon pintar adalah dibenarkan. For Selfie and Wefie Category, editing using mobile apps is allowed.

i. Pengambilan gambar menggunakan “Drone” dan “Aerial Photography” adalah tidak dibenarkan. Photos taken using drones and aerial photography are not allowed.

j. Setiap gambar mesti mempunyai imej Dewan Undangan Negeri Sarawak. Each photo submitted must contain an image of the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly.

k. Gambar mestilah dikepilkan bersama borang penyertaan. Photos submitted must be accompanied with registration forms.

l. Peserta yang ingin menyertai kategori yang lain haruslah menghantar borang penyertaan yang baru dan mengepilkan bersama gambar yang baru bagi kategori yang dipertandingkan. Participants wishing to take part in a different category must have a fresh registration form(s) attached together with the photo(s) for that particular category.

m. Borang penyertaan bagi pelajar sekolah hendaklah dicop pengesahan daripada pihak sekolah. Registration forms from school students must bear the chop of the school concerned.

n. Pelajar kolej / universiti perlu menyertakan salinan kad ID pelajar. College or university students must attach a photostat copy of student ID card.

o. Sila kepilkan borang pendaftaran, gambar yang telah dilekatkan pada “mounting board”,”softcopy”(CD/DVD atau USB), salinan kad ID pelajar( bagi Pelajar Universiti dan Kolej), cop pengesahan daripada pihak sekolah (bagi pelajar sekolah) di dalam satu sampul. Please attach registration form, mounted photo, softcopy (CD/DVD or USB), copy of student ID card (for college or university student), school confirmation chop (for school student) together in an envelope.

p. Tarikh akhir penerimaan semua dokumen penyertaan ialah pada 3.9.2018, pukul 12.00 tengahari. Penyerahan semua dokumen penyertaan pertandingan selepas tempoh yang dinyatakan tidak akan diterima. Mana-mana dokumen yang diterima selepas tarikh 3.9.2018 tidak akan di ambil kira. Bukti tarikh pengiriman bukan bererti bukti penerimaan dokumen. Last date for receiving all documents is 3.9.2018 at 12.00 noon. Submissions made after this will not be entertained. Proof of date of sending is not proof of receipt.
