Photo 1All the band members are encoded in the generic costume of Goths/Emo, Moshers dressed in black from hair to finger nails and unique hair styles. With hints of red that could symbolize anger and hate and violence This image try’s to tell us they want to be different. The murderdolls image influences there music genre off horror rock. Explaining why they look like antagonist in an old fashioned Hammer horror film which some of there songs are influenced by.

They are anti mainstream to the max and and by there facial expressions there not going to be singing about there happy songs, aggressive and harder rock Is something that influents me into ideas for my magazine.

The photo would be used on double page spread as to cramp this on a front cover would prove difficult.

Photo 2This image of Slipknot is also encoded with Goth/Emo/Mosher features they are also all in black with hints of red in there costume. They also all wear masks giving them a new image suppurating them from everyone, showing that they they want to be different. They background used reflects this as they look out of place and discordant to the a threatening image.

This image would be used on a double page spread and an image of all of them on a front cover would be almost impossible as itWould take up to much room to fit all nine of them in.

Photo 3This is a an image of the band black veil brides. All the band members are encoded in the generic costume of Goths/Emo, Moshers dressed in black from hair to finger nails and unique hair styles. And make up .

There body langue and facial expression is very tense . The image makes them also look scarcely intimidating. The background reinforces this with low key lighting and blood splattered on the walls makes them look like psychotic killers.

This photo could be used on a front cover and a double page spread especially a font cover as a masthead could just be placed at the top and would cover lines and puff and other information could be easily added in the middle and bottom.

Photo 4T his is an image of the Japanese band Dir en grey. There costume is encoded in the generic costume of Goths/Emo, Moshers dressed in black and have a quite modern alternative look and unique rock star hair styles.

There facial expression and body language is very open and still and looking very aggressive as well there eye line's are also in line making there glares look more fearsome and dominating.

This photo would be used in a double page spread as its far to wide to fit on a front cover and the fact the lighting is very dim making the image harder to see which would defeat the object of something similar being on a front cover as it is less noticeable.

From analyzing these photos I realized that having four or more models can prove challenging to fit on a front cover. So I think in front cover I want to use three or less. Also in my front cover to go with my type of style/genre of my magazine I w ant to also to have the models facial and body language to look tense and aggressive.

For my contents page I would like multiple photos as it makes more articles look interesting and for the main article image to be the biggest as these from looking at examples such as kerrang and Rocksound.

For my double page spread I want multiple photos as one domination image can have a boring layout. And more images gives the reader a better view of the artical.
