I wanted to create a minimal sign photograph. However, the sign contained detailing, and in order to capture the sign, so I took a separate photograph of the sky and decided to combine them together in Photoshop.

I made sure that I captured both photos very sharply, so editing

later on in Photoshop would be much easier.

This is the completed photograph. As you can see I have used the image of the sky in the background, to add to the stereotypical style of minimalist photography, which follows a style of contrasting colours. I also removed the designs from the sign.

Here you can see a very simplistic and traditional minimalist style. Straight lines, high contrasting colours and very little texture/design element at all.
