have stacks of books and sheets etc. on it, so go pick one from there.

Just remember one thing, in a piano bar you

have to play the crowd otherwise you lose them and with that your job.

So, if I get asked for ‘Feelings’ when everyone is ordering hors d’ oeuvres and wants to enjoy classics, you will get it in that style, If you do so when people are laid back, it will probably be done in an Engelbert Humperdinck / Frank Sinatra / Neil Diamond Kind of voice. Later when people are dancing the Samba, do not be surprised if it’s done in Latin American style. Late at night when we are rocking along full tilt expect to get a disco, rock and roll type version. If we are in a comical mood, expect to have the words, beat, voice and even the tune changed or be made fun of.

If you are the type of music critic that wants it done as it was recorded, forget it, go home and listen to the original. Here it
