4-6 Years A GREAT way for students ages four to six to have tons of FUN while learning to play the piano. Learn the basics of music using games and teamwork, while moving at your own pace in the Lesson Book. Teams are the perfect choice for all beginners and students who need some extra motivation. Students graduate from Teams into Private Lessons after Level 2. 45 minute weekly lesson. Wednesday 5:00 (Only 6 openings) Curriculum Description Age Range: 4-6 years Class Structure: 16 classes in a semester; 32 per year Class Length: 45 minute class each week Class Size: Class with no more than 6 children Parent Involvement: Parents will be invited periodically to our informal class recitals Designed to equip young children with the skills necessary to play the piano and learn to read music, in Piano Teams children will explore the complexities of music in a creative and nurturing environment. They will learn such skills as note values, music alphabet, music symbols, music readiness, and steady beat. They will use rhythm instruments and drums while learning to read rhythm charts and gain musical knowledge that will help build a foundation for their musical pursuit. Through this fun class setting they will gain self- confidence, team-work, listening skills and a love for music!
