Especially suited to south-facing roof windows, the blind stops the heat from the sun reaching the glass and radiating into the room. Designed to integrate perfectly with your VELUX roof window, the awning blind is made from weather resistant net fabric. When not in use, the external blind rolls up and is kept out of sight. For additional light control and comfort, VELUX awning blinds can be combined with any interior VELUX blind.

Operation

VELUX awning blinds are available in manual, solar or electric powered operation. The manual awning blind can be rolled fully up or down by simply rotating the roof window 180º and fixing and releasing the hooks at the bottom of the sash. The solar awning blind is for use with solar or manual roof windows and comes complete with a battery operated control pad. Electric awning blinds are designed for use with VELUX INTEGRA® electric roof windows and the VELUX INTEGRA® touch-screen control pad. Both automatic operation systems put temperature control at your fingertips from anywhere in the room.

For roof windows manufactured before April 2001 you must also order ZOZ 228 to fit MML electric and MSL solar awning blinds.
