CUT EVERYTHING OUT Cut two pickle sides and one pickle center from green felt. Cut two eyes from white felt and two pupils from black felt.

SEW THE PICKLE TOGETHER Pin the two pickle sides together and stitch along the outer edge from point A to point B leaving an opening as marked(figures 1 and 2). Pin the pickle center between the two pickle sides, matching up points A and B. Stitch the pickle center the pickle sides (figures 3 and 4).

STUFF THE PICKLE Clip the curves and turn the pickle right side out. Stuff firmly. Ladder stitch the opening closed with coordinating thread (figures 5 and 6). ADD DETAILS TO THE PICKLE Glue or stitch the pupils to the eyes and the eyes to the pickle. Embroider a smile with pink floss using split stitch. Embroider French knots in a random pattern all over the pickle. Thread a 6” length of bakers twine through the top of the pickle to create a hanger (figures 7 and 8). PERSONALIZE THE PICKLE:

Instead of French knots use seed beads or dots of fabric paint to create bumps on your pickle. Add a Santa hat, a superhero cape, an eye patch, a mustache, or a bowtie to your pickle. Have fun!
