Sorry to spoil the surprise, but all these images are of the same girl, but all deliver a different meaning. In this presentation I will deconstruct the images which will explain about how this girl can seem so different in these three pictures, and how meaning and connotation can be changed by just the change of someone's clothes, makeup etc.

The smile on her face shows innocence and when the audience sees this they automatically assume she is good natured due to this one time nice facial expression; they take a liking to her straightaway.

This clips in her hair pull her hair back to prevent it covering her face and neck; this gives us a more open feel to her, the fact we can see her neck and face makes her seem more approachable and nice.

The colours in the background deliver a smooth and calm tone as they fit in smoothly with the colours of her clothes. This gives the overall relaxed feeling. Thus giving another nice feel for her.

The rainbow belt gives the impression of a nice girl. The fact that’s it’s a little childish gives us that sense of innocence ones again, giving a good girl feel about her.

Also she is wearing a wrist band that matches her belt, this helps to tie in together the feeling that I have described when I talked about the belt. Its helps to bring the feeling to a larger scale rather that just the belt.

Her relaxed body posture also gives the relaxed and clam feeling we get from the other things in the photo. The body posture ties in well with the relaxed colour tones of the imaged adding to the overall relaxed and calm feeling of the photograph.

The scarf she is wearing gives that safe and warm look which ties the whole look together of this clam feel as its colours do blend in well with the background. Also the scarf connotes warmth, this therefore makes the viewers feel a little warm towards her.

The collar represents something animalistic and wild which can come across as provocative to men, makes her seem attention seeking to men.

Her cleavage is showing, this makes her seem a lot more open and would want people to come in to her, and by people I mean men; they see this as a signal to come for her, gives a sexual feel to her and the image as a whole.

The red background represents danger and also can represents romance, this makes the reader feel this way about the girl, that she is dangerous but in a romantic way.

The red lips also fit in with the danger type of thing, and the fact that they match with the background of the image completes the who sensual and dangerous look and feel of the image.

Her arms and shoulders are pushed back, this makes her seem a lot more open , and gives that “come and get it” feel, since her body posture is very open.

Her hair is messed up which shows she is a rebel and also gives that uncaring vibe about her, that she doesn’t care about what her hair looks like, also makes her see a little wild and again gives that animalistic feel to her.

The stomach showing also adds to the showing of cleavage, gives that sexual look and feel to the girl.

When she sticks out her hand and puts it out in this position, it gives a sort of pushing away feeling; by this I mean that its as if she's stopping people from coming in, it makes her seem less approachable.

The shadowed outline that surrounds all of the girl blurs out the wrest of what her body could be, this gives us the impression that she could be much larger, that she could be fatter, the shadow makes us think that all the fat she could be has been covered.

The overuse of makeup around her eyes makes for a more dramatic look, almost scary since the line of her eyebrows are so long, looks kind of alien like, this therefore makes her seem a little scary and abnormal.

Also here baggy clothes prevent us from seeing any body shape which therefore makes her seem fatter

Her general facial expression is quite still and moody looking which makes her seen unapproachable and also makes her seem mean as a whole to the audience as this is their first impression of her.

The colour of the background is dark which represents a bit of mystery, and that’s the kind of feel we get from the girl as she is stood in front of the background and she is also wearing black clothing that matches the background.

The hand behind her back also shows a bit of secrecy and mystery, it connotes the fact she may be hiding something, something that she does not want us to know.
