Notes: The cover illustration has Ali Baba up on the branch of a tree in the foreground as he watches the leader standing in front of five robbers who are all carrying booty. The leader is about to command the huge rock blocking the cave entrance to open. This illustration is used again in 1986 for the reissue album.

Three of the illustrations, which complement the printed text in the 22-page booklet show cave scenes. One (p. 5), which was already used for the picture cover of this album. The second illustration (p. 7 – shown above) has Ali Baba surrounded by jars of gold coins in the treasure cave as he holds up several jeweled necklaces. And the third (p. 13) is a black & white drawing of Ali Baba and his donkey at the entrance to the cave when they discover the dead body of Cassim. Kercver Notes: Looking out of large cave entrance with a ceiling festooned with clusters of stylized blue stalactites. Ali Baba stands just inside the entrance with his hands on two tall urns filled with gold coins. A two-panel foldout of text and pictures has two nice cave illustrations: the first one showing Ali Baba giving the command, “Open, Sesame!” The stone door of the cave slides back to reveal a well-decorated stalactite cave containing large urns filled with gold objects and the second illustration shows five robbers all with pointed spears inside the cave. On the left are several jars and a chest filled with gold and on the far left partly hidden behind a wall buttress is Cassim who has been trapped in the cave because he was unable to remember the command to open the cave door.
