A great blessing for us as a ministry was The World Race in the month in October. They helped a
family in Corabia, the Dumitru family with evangelism. The Racers also helped George withreaching out to the villages in his area through evangelism. They did many other projects, including
helped with construction, English in Daneasa and Pestra, testimonies in all the churches,
administration in the office, and Kids Clubs all throughout the ministry.
As a result of World Races service, God had given us two people that continued their blessing for 3
months each. Megan McCoomb served us during the summertime in serving the missionaries in their
physical needs, as well as some youth. Rachel Martin came for 3 months to work with our team,
especially to increase our English potential. She also did some administration and logistic work.
When we realized we had to release these people to go back to America, we realized how important
they were. One came and left, and then another. Who is nextany Racer?
There was a necessary job in the ministry a while ago, but it was not valued yet in the context of the
team. This is because it was not presented officially, but I had come to the decision that the Lord had
spoken to me in different ways. I had to share it with the team and all those who pray for us.
We need a person who can have a holistic view of the ministry to respond and filter through
emails. This person would be a secretary for me, as this is consuming me and taking me away from
discipleship, pastoring, assisting the missionaries and teaching. Its keeping me from going to the
area where I am the most productive. As a coordinator, I feel that I am splitting myself in 2 different
areas: serving the people through my gifts and calling and planning, organizing, logistics, and writing
emails. The latter is not my main calling. This is too much for me. Our system will not grow if we
cannot find the right person to take this responsibility from me.
There has been an ethical conflict within myself. Is this position justified in our team, where
the missionaries have low incomes? Is it justified where the priority is so much about church
planting? Where other needs are so valued in importance, am I right if I am coming with this
situation in front of the team or should I work more and ignore my personal needs?
But many voices from those that were close to me, they confirmed and spoke that I should
make a big change in my program or else our system will collapse. I wanted to tell you that I do not
consider myself indispensible, and I know the Lord can at anytime find someone to replace me. Its
not something personal, but something functional for our ministry. Im still somewhat conflicted
about the full-time job, which we need to release. However, our team and mission has the goal to
reach out to 350,000 people with over 60 villages with partnerships and teams to be planned with
meetings, and with missionaries to be assisted. There needs to be phone calls and emails to be
responded, work and visits in the fields, events to be scheduled, and relationships that need to be
maintained. There are so many projects that need to be run: social and spiritual projects, legal
happenings, reports to be written: all things that require time. My children are growing; they need
their father and my wife needs her husband. In order for the system to function, it needs to work this
way.
I share these things not to complain to you. I was very transparent with you here with all my
feelings, so you would understand and pray well for me. This has happened only after a long process
of thinking and agreement that I have received from our team.

Prayer Request: Its a prayer for the youth from the cell groups salvation, and then to be integrated
with the local church. Pray for the preachers to be able to grow in their call and to be equipped well.Pray for the principles of the course to be implemented in Tavi and Ions mentalities to be changed
according to Gods will. Please pray for continued work with The World Race, as it is a great
resource for the area to accomplish our vision. Please pray that the Lord would touch more World
Racers to come and impact the ministry. Please pray for a secretary for our mission, as we need this
person for our ministry to work. We are thankful that Jonels family has been blessed with some
finances from some people in Holland , to start the construction of a home. Constructions has been
going well, but please continue to pray for the remainder of the finances to come in so that he and his
family can move into the home as soon as possible. Also Cristi Simion, a missionary has some hard
decisions to make because of decreased financial support. Some of his supporters have had personal
financial struggles, and are no longer able to contribute at the same level. Cristi is not currently able
to find another job in this area. We would like to see him and his family be able to continue working
in our ministry on a long term basis. Please pray for increased finances, but more importantly for
Gods wisdom during this time of decision.
Berechet Octavian and Palcau Veronica
There is a kids club in Maruntei that was started in 2011 with Octavian and Veronica Palcau. There
are currently nine youth coming to the club: ages 7-17 years. A few months ago, Tavi started to
invest in a teenager in the program. Tavis desire is to invest in this boy, so that he would understand
the Bible. This teenager is an important bridge for village, as it is his village and he knows many
people there. The World Race was here for a month in October helping with the kids club and
evangelism in Maruntei.

Dumitru Mircea and Cornelia
Mircea and Cornelia are the newest
missionaries on the team. They are working in
Corabia trying to start a Kids Club. They are
also trying to reach out to mothers and families
through prayer and support for their families.
They would also like to have a few groups with
young people to start some Bible studies.
Prayer Requests: Please pray for the family
especially at this time. It can be lonely without
friends and fellowship. Pray that they would
not get discouraged. Pray for a location for all
their meetings, they need finances for this; as
well they want to show American evangelism
movie. Please pray that there would be a good
turn-out, as well as open hearts.

George and Dana started Kids Club this year in Stoenesti in the middle of September. They also
started a new kids club in Gostavatu with Andrea, a missionary from the North who is in Oltenia for
three months. Dana has been working with 5-6 adolescent girls ages 12-15 in Gostavatu.
Prayer Requests (for George): please pray for his daily fellowship, for applying Scripture day to day,
wisdom in his work, that construction in Stoenesti would be finished, and for another missionary to
partner with the Serbans in their work in the South Zone.
Prayer Requests (for Dana): for her childrens work, and for wisdom and guidance with the women
she meets with twice a week.
Stoica Marian
and Andrea
Marian and Andrea
work in Daneasa with
6 adolescent girls. As
children, they used to
come to Kids Club,
but now they are
coming every Friday
evening to a Bible
Study in Draganesti-
Olt, every Thursdayfor homework help in
Daneasa and every
Sunday evening for church in Draganesti-Olt. We had The World Race teaching English to these
girls.
In October, there was one guest from Germany. With the guest, Marian and Andrea made house
visits and helped a family in Pestra to be self-sustaining through the use of a water system in their
home. This family includes a believer, who is a grandmother with three grandchildren. The father of
the children also lives there but he drinks very much and his children are afraid of him. Marian and
Andrea have helped many families with general practical needs.

Vlad Ion and Christina
Ion and Christina are having a consequent program with kids on Friday. They are also having a
prayer time in Lisa and Perieti. There has been an answered prayer! Brother Florin from Schitu
accepted Christ. God has brought a Muslim family to us. God has opened an opportunity for us to
share The Gospel with them. We have a very special relationship with them. They trust us and let
their kids come to program, and when they leave for somewhere, they leave us to watch their
children.
In 1998, Viorel from Balteni, started to come to church for a few years regularly, but never made the
commitment to be baptized and follow Christ FULLY. Recently, he started to come to church again,
but when the choir came from Alba Iulia a few weeks ago, he was convicted and the Lord worked in
his heart through renewal.
Prayer Requests: Please pray for Gods and our work in discipleship with elderly people. Also,
please pray for The Church to be a good witness for the people of Perieti and Lisa.
Weppler Kevin and Michelle
Ionela, 13 years old is one of the young girls that Michelle mentors here in our village of Comani.
Ionela lives with aged grandparents. Her father passed away when she was only 2, and her mother has
since remarried and now has another family. Ionela and her grandparents were in a desperate waywhen a team of ladies from Canada visited recently. They left funds, which we used to buy 2 tons of
firewood for this family. Ionela who carries a large responsibility in this family for her age was
overjoyed and thanked us so much for helping them out.
