Der PiePS GLoBAL FiNDeR ist ein einzigar-tiges outdoor-Gerät zur Navigation, Nach-richtenübermittlung und Kameradenrettung – ganz ohne GSM Netzwerk!

Der einsatzbereich erstreckt sich vom alpinen wanderer, über Mountainbiker bis hin zu allen outdoor-aktivitäten abseits gesicherter und fre-quentierter wege.

Neben der GPs-Basisfunktionalität (Positions-bestimmung, trackaufzeichnung, wegpunkt-Navigation) versendet der PiePS Global Finder regelmäßig seine aktuelle Position über das kos-tenfreie 800-MHz-isM-Band. Dieses signal kann von anderen PiePS Global Finder Geräten nicht nur empfangen, sondern direkt in die eigene GPs Navigation übernommen werden. Durch eine spe-zielle Notruf-Funktion wird dieses signal mit einer vielfach höheren Leistung abgestrahlt und kann über weite strecken empfangen werden. Zusätz-lich ist im PiePS Global Finder sky ein satelliten-Modem integriert, mit welchem ein gesichertes (!) absetzen eines Notrufs über ein Low-orbit satel-liten system ermöglicht wird – und das von jedem Punkt der erde aus!

The field of application reaches from alpine mountaineering, mountain biking to general outdoor activities away from secured and fre-quented terrain.

Besides basic GPs functionality (position-ing, tracking, waypoint navigation) the PiePS Global Finder broadcasts its own ac-tual position over the cost-free 800 MHz-isM radio band. this broadcasted informa-tion can be received by other PiePS Global Finder devices and can be used directly in waypoint navigation. with the special „eRMeRCeNCY“-function, this signal will be sent by multiplied power and can be received over large distances. additionally the PiePS Global Finder sky has an integrated satellite modem, which will grant a secured two-way transmission of the emergency call via a low orbit satellite network – from eve-rywhere on earth!
