DescriptionThe SCHAKO-floor displacement diffuser type PIL-B in rectan-gular, square or round design is suitable for installation indouble floors in rooms of high thermal loads such as in com-puter centres. The air flows horizontally out of the floor dis-placement diffuser. This flow results in a rapid reduction of thetemperature and velocity near the diffuser.The round floor displacement diffuser consists of a faceplateand a dirt collection basket (at an extra charge). The rectangularand square floor displacement diffuser consists of a front plateand a support frame and at an extra charge a dirt collection bas-ket can be installed. The basket bottom of the dirt collection bas-ket is height-adjustable. This allows the volumes of the supplyair of each diffuser to be set to different values if there are dif-ferent diffuser resistances.Instead of the dirt collection basket, the floor displacement dif-fuser can also be fitted with a plenum box for optimum air dis-tribution over the entire diffuser. The plenum box can beadditionally fitted with a Damper . This serves for air volumeregulation and is easy to adjust. For easy mounting, a mountingframe (for PIL-B-Q and PIL-B-RE) can be delivered at an extracharge.

To maintain the local thermal ambient climate, we recommendselecting a supply air temperature > 19°C.
