FULL ITINERARY

April 19 - Wed DEPART USA D Depart the USA for Paris, France. Prepare for an “Spiritual Journey of a Lifetime.” April 20 -- Thur PARIS, FRANCE B,D On arrival at the airport in Paris, we will be met, assisted to our waiting coach. Orientation tour through the city's major landmarks and monuments: Arc de Triumph, Champs-Elysées, Concorde Square, Opera House, Invalides, with photo stop at the Eiffel Tower. Visit Sainte-Chapelle and be dazzled by the 1,113 stained glass windows at this jewel of the Rayonnant Gothic period. The rest of the day at leisure for your own discovery. Paris is one of the most exciting cities in the world in cul-ture, architecture and spirituality. Dinner and overnight in Paris. April 21 - Fri PARIS B,D After breakfast, discover Paris and its rich spiritual history, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and Montmartre with Mass at Sacre Coeur Basilica. Afternoon as you wish to shop or possibly enjoy a quick visit to the Louvre. This evening, dinner at a local restau-rant before enjoying a Seine River cruise through Paris, the “City of Light.” Overnight Paris. April 22 - Sat PARIS – LOURDES B,D Begin the day with Mass at the Shrine of the Miraculous Medal where Our Lady appeared to St. Catherine Laboure. Afternoon, transfer to the Paris station to take the TGV fast train to Lourdes. After dinner at our hotel, those who wish may take part in the peace-filled candlelight procession in Lourdes. Dinner, overnight Lourdes hotel April 23 - Sun LOURDES B,D After breakfast, celebrate morning Mass in Lourdes. Proceed with a walking tour including a visit to Bernadette’s house, the Sanctuary, the new Basilica, the world’s largest underground church. Adjacent to the Basilica is the fountain from which pilgrims can bless themselves with the holy water from the original spring. Remainder of day at lei-sure for meditation and private devotions or walk the Stations of the Cross. For those who wish, don’t miss the opportunity to take part in the very

solemn evening candlelight procession around the grounds of this beautiful Shrine to Our Lady of Lourdes. Dinner & overnight at our Lourdes hotel. April 24 - Mon LOURDES B,D After breakfast, begin our day with Mass. Full day in Lourdes to meditate as you wish - reflect at Our Lady’s Shrine, take part in the miraculous baths where hundreds of healings have taken place, marvel at the life-size bronze statues of the Stations of the Cross. Another opportunity to take part in the nightly candle-light procession. Dinner/overnight Lourdes

April 25 - Tue LOURDES – BURGOS BD Morning departure from Lourdes as we make our way through the French part of “St. Jacob’s Pilgrimage Road.” Enjoy the spectacular drive through the Pyrenees Mountains, crossing the border into Spain. Continue to Pamplona, the first Spanish city along the “Way of St James.” Lunch stop (on our own) in Pam-plona with free time to walk around the square & mar-vel at the gothic Cathedral (if open). Continue to Bur-gos, Pearl of Northern Spain. Enjoy a walking city tour with a visit to the magnificent Basilica of Burgos, one of the largest and most beautiful basilicas in all of Europe. Dinner and overnight Burgos.

April 26 - Wed BURGOS – LEON SANTIAGO de COMPOSTELA BD Morning departure to the 2000 year old city of Leon including the Gothic majesty of the Leon Cathedral, featuring three Gothic style centers - to Fromista - Villacazar de Sirga and Carrion de los Condes. In Leon, we will celebrate Mass before our unbelievable opportunity to walk the hundreds of years old Pilgrim-age path. See the shrines along the path and maybe even meet other pilgrims along the way to Santiago de Com-postela, one of the great shrines of medieval Christen-dom. Dinner & overnight Santiago de Compostela. April 27 Thur SANTIAGO de COMPOSTELA BD Full day in Santiago de Compostela. The remains of St. James lie beneath the high altar in a silver coffer. His bejeweled bust sits above his tomb. We begin the day with a morning city tour including the Barrio Antiguo, Plaza da Quintana, the arcaded Casa de la Co-nonica. Remainder of the day highlighted by private devotion at the Shrine of St. James, the Patron Saint of Spain. Celebrating Mass in the Basilica is a fitting

culmination of our pilgrim journey to Compostela. Since the 12th century, thousands of Pilgrims have completed the “Camino de Santiago.” Among those who have walked this path are St. Francis of Assisi and Pope John Paul II. Dinner & overnight in Santiago de Compostela. April 28 - Fri SANTIAGO de COMPOSTELA COIMBRA - FATIMA B,D This morning heading south, we depart for Portugal traveling along the Atlantic Coast to Coimbra. After lunch “on our own” in Coimbra, we will visit the convent and celebrate Mass where Sr. Lucia, the eld-est of the three children of Fatima, lived. Opportunity to view many of her private letters, among other per-sonal object on display. We continue a little further south arriving before dinner at our hotel in Fatima. Those who wish may take part in the beautiful candle-light procession on the grounds at Fatima. Dinner and overnight Fatima.

April 29 - Sat FATIMA B,D After breakfast, begin our day with Mass at Chapel of Apparitions. Afterwards, continue our visit to the Basilica, site of Francisco, Jacinta and Lucia’s graves; the village of Aljustrel, where the children lived; and Valinhos, the site of Our Lady’s appear-ance after the children’s return from prison. The re-mainder of the day at leisure to meditate on your own. You may want to follow the Stations of the Cross along the Via Sacra which was built by Hun-garian refugees and which culminates in the Chapel of Calvary overlooking all of Fatima. Those who wish may join the candlelight procession. Dinner & over-night in Fatima. April 30 - Sun FATIMA - LISBON B,D After breakfast, depart for Lisbon. Upon arrival, en-joy a guided tour of Lisbon including the Belem Tow-er, the Monument to the Discoveries and St. Jeron-imos Monastery. Continue to the Basilica of St An-thony, built over his birthplace, where we will cele-brate Mass. The rest of the day at leisure for last mi-nute shopping, photos or discoveries on your own. Enjoy our Farewell Dinner in a local restaurant, over-night in Lisbon.
