Pilot Ground School InformationCadet Aviation ProgramPowered flying has been a major part of Air Cadets since start

Gliding program began in 1965, now largest glider training program in the world

Air Cadet League owns and insures 65 gliders and 30 tow planes

Over 22 000 junior cadets participate in familiarization flying in spring and fall

Every summer, over 500 senior cadets get a Glider Pilot Licence (GPL) or Private Pilot Licence (PPL) through cadet program
