NOVA ZINC is a new scientific compositionof pure zinc powder (99%), resins and othercomponents. Applied to ferrous metals andaluminium it forms a tough but flexible zincmetal film, which by electrochemical actionoffers excellent protection against corrosion,even when the coating is scratched or worndown. There is an essential differencebetween NOVA ZINC and paint. Paint andprimers protect by forming a "skin'.'NOVA ZINC however gives protection againstcorrosion by the galvanic action betweenzinc and iron. Electrochemically expressed

NOVACARE RC1 is a stabilised water-solubleemulsion with specially selected sand grains.This special composition works effectivelythanks to the selected and controlledgranulometry (grain size) of the specialabrasive composition. The products of theNOVACARE RC line are free of silicones andsolvents, and can be used on all paint typesin the industry and bodywork world andmany other similar paint procedures, as usedon furniture and high quality industrialproducts. The NOVACARE RC line comes intwo colours: the white version for lightcoloured paints and the black version fordark coloured paints.

NOVACARE RC1 is a product formulated foruse on new dry paints as well as on oldweathered paints. A controlled sandingcapacity shows excellent paint restoration ofpaints sanded with micrograins. NOVACARERC1 is best used in combination with a softwool pad to remove sand scratches bysanding with polyester abrasive film ornormal sand paper with grain 2000 and avoidnew scratches, especially on dark colours. IfNovacare RC1 is used properly, furtherpolishing is not needed. If protection isdesired and more deep shine is needed,Novacare RC2 can be used.

• The surface to be treated must be cleanand free of dust; use Multifoam for this• Remove any traces of wax and degreasewith Safety Clean• Use a sheep wool pad• Apply enough NOVACARE RC1 to thesurface to be treated, never on the wool pad• Start the polishing machine on very lowspeed and maintain this low speed, workingwith a 90° traverse motion to avoidoverheating, especially on plastics• Continue to work with this motion until thedesired homogenous result is achieved• If sanding is done beforehand, theoperation will have to be repeated, especiallyon dark paints
