    For pipe from 48” (1,219mm) to 60” (1,524mm). CRC-Evans state-of-the-art bending machines.

Hydraulic controls give one operator completecommand of all machine operations from aconvenient platform.

Hydraulically driven winch moves pipe through themachine. Pipe moves easily on contoured rollers.

Calibrated indicator rod allows operator to makeconsistently uniform bends.

Pin-up shoe automatically grips pipe to preventdistortion.

Conversion to another pipe size within machinerange is made simply by fitting an alternativebending set.

Machine is capable of bending all grades ofcurrently available API-5L pipe within its range.

Machine frame constructed from high-strengthsteel to ensure long life without fatigue failure.

Unitized construction makes for easy maintenanceand repair.

Towing eye is attached to hydraulically actuatedstiff back and may be raised and lowered tofacilitate attachment to towing tractor.

Machine may be towed on the right-of-way by asuitable tractor (normally the side boom feedingthe pipe to the bending machine).

For each pipe size to be bent, a bending set, bending die, mandrel, and bending belt arerequired.

Machines uses two stage pump to increaseproductivity.

  • A cell marked with a dash [-] represents the ability tobend up to 2.00 inch thick. For Wall thickness greaterthan shown, please contact CRC-Evans.

Figures are recommendations only and do notconstitute a warranty.

All bends shown include the use of CRC-Evansbending mandrels. Figures given are “average” andwill vary due to:

The wall thickness of the pipe.

Actual (as opposed to nominal) yield of the pipe.

Skill of the operator handling the bendingmachine and mandrel.

Origin of pipe (pipe mill, plate mill, etc.) andquality of pipe.

Type of die and/or bending set being used (e.g., polyurethane lining or special radius dies).
