Tip identification is easier than ever with new TipOne® color-coded wafers. Four new wafer colors correspond to pipette volume: red for 2.5, 10, and 20 µl pipettes with ultra micro tip cones; yellow for volumes from 20 to 200 µl; green for 300 µl; and blue for 1000 µl pipettes. (All new colors replace the original purple wafers; selected tips may still ship with purple wafers for a limited time. TipOne is made from pure virgin polypropylene. No clarifiers or processing additives (slip agents, biocides, antistatic agents, etc.) are used. Frequent and fastidious maintenance eliminates the need for mold release agents and keeps tip surfaces smooth. For difficult samples, we offer ultra low retention tips made without silicone or other removable coatings that could affect your research.

TipOne products are packed in particulate-free plastic. We don’t use cardboard, paper, or other uncharacterized materials as tip containers. TipOne is manufactured in the USA using fully automated, state of the art equipment housed in a positive pressure, HEPA filtered environment.

Our long-life racks are designed for repeated autoclaving without warping. If you use TipOne refill wafers instead of buying new racks you can save over 65% plastic for each unit of 960 tips. All TipOne racks, lids, wafers, and stacks are marked for easy recycling. TipOne is certified free of detectable RNase, DNase, DNA and pyrogens and does not need to be autoclaved for most molecular biology applications. TipOne is also available in sterilized racks.

The following tips include our new Profile elements:

10/20 µl XL TipOne® and TipOne® RPT tips fit 2.5 µl, 10 µl, and 20 µl pipettes with ultra micro tip cones. Extra length allows easier use with 1.5 ml and other tubes, and even the filter tips will deliver up to 20 µl. A new collar design improves fit on more pipette brands. The Profile Wall has a smaller circumference, and the thin Profile Point aids sample release. Graduated at 1, 5, 10, and 20 µl.

200 µl TipOne® and TipOne® RPT Profile Point tips are the same length as other 200 µl TipOne tips. They feature the softer Profile Collar™, thin Profile Wall clarity, and the thinner Profile Point. Graduated at 10, 50, and 100 µl.

300 µl TipOne® and TipOne® RPT tips allow additional clearance between the pipette and the meniscus at full volume for greater protection from cross-contamination. New Profile Collar lowers application and ejection forces (critical with multichannel pipettes), while the thinner Profile Wall improves clarity and reduces polypropylene use. Graduated at 100, 200, and 300 µl.

TipOne RPT ultra low retention technology refines polypropylene tip surfaces at a molecular level, improving the flow dynamics ofviscous liquids and other difficult samples.

Recommended applications for TipOne RPT include selected nucleic acids, proteins, and solutions with Triton-X, glycerin, or other components that require an extremely low surface energy for complete sample release. TipOne RPT will also ensure optimum delivery of aqueous and other common laboratory solutions.

In contrast to other technologies that use siliconized or fluorocoated surfaces, TipOne RPT tips offer exceptional delivery withoutthe risk of interaction with additives or treatments, even after sterilization or autoclaving.

Microcentrifuge Tube Leak TestDoes your tube maintain a seal while heating? Although a tube may remain closed, evaporation can occur when a seal is incomplete. Seal-Rite passes the test with no leaks!

Water-sensitive paper has a specially coated yellow surface that turns blue when exposed to moisture. This indicating paper (A) was placed across the top of Seal-Rite (B) and other (C-H) 1.5 ml tubes containing 1 ml of 50% ethanol and incubated at 95°C for 15 minutes in a dry bath with a tightly closed lid. Tube brands C-H show varying levels of failure.
