Method1. Preheat oven 170C/160C fan forced.2. With an electric mixer, cream butter and icing sugar until very pale
and fluffy. Add vanilla and beat briefly. Stir in plain flour, cornflour and salt. Drop teaspoons of mixture into chopped nuts and rollbriefly before placing on a baking tray lined with parchment. Leavea 2 cm space between them and bake for about 10 - 15 minutes oruntil a pale golden.
3. Cool on a wire rack. When cool, lightly dust with extra icing sugar.Handle gently when storing as they are very short and crumbleeasily.
