One In A Million is a Bradford based charity that engagespredominantly with disadvantaged children and young people, throughSports, Arts and Enterprise programmes. Our daily programmesenable us to use formal and informal education as a delivery mechanismto break the cycles of deprivation over their young lives, valuing andcelebrating their uniqueness, letting them know they are ‘one in a million’.

Our Passion: is to make a difference to our city. We work with parts ofBradford, which fall within the top 1% of national deprivation. Ourmotivation is to help change the negative statistics that hover over childrenand young people so that they can thrive socially, educationally and intheir well being.

Our Goal: is to improve children and young people’s wellbeing, skills, confidence and self-esteem through activities delivered in a fun and safeenvironment.

Our Hope: is to install young people with skills, confidence andknowledge, providing progression pathways into employment, educationand training.

Our Values: Compassion, Honesty, Integrity and Excellence.

Together, with your help, we can continue to make a differenceto our local community. Inside this booklet, you’ll find tworichly rewarding opportunities to volunteer; by fundraisingor participation in our community projects. Simply tick theexpression of interest boxes, fill out your details, return itback to us and we will contact you shortly.

Join us and play your part to support Bradford’s disadvantagedchildren & young people who are the future of our great city!
